Chapter 5

~ Vic's pov ~

I woke up the next morning and saw Kellin sleeping in my arms. I smiled down at him.

"Good morning, babe." he said surprising me.

"Good morning, love." I said.

"Let's get ready for school." He said pecking my lips and getting up. I smiled and got up. I walked over to the closet and got some clothes for me and him. He came out of the bathroom and walked over to me. I handed him the clothes and he smiled and walked back into the bathroom. I smiled and changed and walked into the bathroom after he walked out. I walked out after brushing my teeth and saw Kellin sitting on my bed. I sat beside him and saw him messing with his fingers. "I wish I could be able to ya know hold your hand." He said.

"You can." I said.

"I mean at school." He said. I sighed.

"I know, Kells. Soon we will. Just give me a bit." I said. He nodded.

"Of course." He said. I smiled.

"Come on or we'll be late." I said. He nodded. We got up and grabbed our bags. We walked down to my car ignoring my brother since he was asking why Kellin was here. I opened the door for him. He got in and I shut the door and got in. I started the car and drove off.

I parked and got out. We walked inside and I saw Austin. He was pretty beat up, I guess Jaime got to him.

"I guess Jaime got to him." I said. Kellin nodded. Austin looked over at us. I wanted to pound his face in more. We started walking to his locker.

~ Kellin's pov ~

I just stayed quiet while I followed Vic. We got to my locker. I grabbed some books and shut it waiting for the bell to ring.

"Hey, let's go to the guys." Vic said.

"Uh, sure." I said. We walked over to the guys.

"Jaime, did you do that to Austin?" he asked. Jaime looked at him.

"Yeah, he deserved it." Jaime said. I know Jaime can be violent but he was about to kill him, I can tell.

"I need to get to class." I said quietly. They all nodded at me. Vic kissed my cheek. I smiled slightly and walked to class. I saw Matty sitting in his normal seat. I sat beside him.

"Hey, how are you?" He asked.

"Hey, I'm fine." I said.

"You were like AWOL for a week. What happened?" He asked.

"Austin." I said quietly.

"What'd he do?" He asked.

"Just uh, don't worry. I'm fine." I said. He nodded. Austin walked in and walked over to me.

"I don't know what stunt you pulled, what you told Jaime, but my fucking house was raided last night and he beat the hell out of me." He said.

"I didn't do or say anything to Jaime, don't forget, I was in the hospital for a week, in a coma. Jaime fucking hates when his friends are hurt, he gets revenge. So, it's not my fucking fault." I said and pulled out my binder. He went to hit me.

"Mr. Fuentes, what are you doing here?" The teacher asked. That stopped Austin from hitting me.

"Oh, I have a class change." I heard Vic say.

"Alright then. Take a seat over by Mr. Quinn." He said. I heard footsteps. Austin walked away.

"Vic, what are you doing here?" I asked quietly.

"Making sure you're safe." He whispered. I nodded and sighed.

I had walked to the bathroom during lunch and that was where I stayed all day. I walked out and went to my locker since it's the end of the day.
"Hey, Kell. Do you want me to drive you home?" I heard Vic ask.
"I think I'll manage." I said not wanting to turn to face him since I have a black eye from Austin's friend Oliver. I don't wanna tell Vic because I don't want him being all protective boyfriend and all.
"Seriously, Kells. It's no problem." He said.
"Vic, I'll be fine." I said.
"Kells, look at me." He said. I turned to face him. He looked pissed once he saw my face. "Who did this to you?" He asked. I sighed. "Baby, please tell me who did this." He said.
"It was Oliver." I said.
"He's so dead." He said.
"Don't do anything stupid." I said.
"I'm not the violent type." He said.
"Oh, you mean if Jaime found out." I said.
"Yeah, exactly." He said.
"Just drop me off at home." I said.
"Sure." He said.
"Thank you." I said.
"Of course." He said. I shut my locker and we started walking out. I saw Jaime beating up Oliver. I guess Matty told him. I sighed. Oliver ended up getting away from Jaime.
"Don't touch him again." Jaime said.
"Jaime! Stop!" Vic yelled. We walked over. Oliver looked between me and Jaime.
"You protecting your boyfriend, Jaime?" Oliver asked.
"No, I'm not. Kellin isn't my boyfriend." He said.
"He's mine." Vic said.

Everyone looked at him even me. I thought that he didn't want to tell anyone.
