~ Kellin's pov~

It's been a week of suspension. Vic and I are getting better. But right now, I'm in a place called hell. Aka school.

"Yo, Kellin." I heard Matty say. I turned to face him.

"Hey, Matty." I said.

"How was suspension?" He asked.

"It was...intense..." I said.

"Why did Ronnie blame you?" He asked.

"Honestly? I don't know." I said.

"What you mean? Didn't you question him?" He asked.

"No I didn't." I said. I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"Oh, boyfriend alert. Catch you guys later." Matty said and walked away. I turned to face Vic.

"Hey." I said.

"Sorry I couldn't pick you up." He said.

"You never did explain to me why you couldn't." I said. "Why couldn't you?" I asked.

"Had family stuff to take care of." He said. I nodded. I closed my locker and the bell rang.

"I gotta get to class." I said.

"I have the same class as you." He said. I nodded. He unwrapped his arms. I started walking to class. "Kells, what's wrong with you?" He asked. I stopped and faced him.

"Why are you lying to me? I thought we were done with that?" I asked.

"I'm not lying to you, Kellin. Ask Mike." He said.

"I don't need to ask him anything, Vic." I said.

"Do it, you know I'm not lying." He said. I saw Mike walking over.

"Mike, a word please?" I asked. He stopped by us.

"Sure, what's up Kellin?" He asked.

"Did you guys have a family thing to deal with this morning?" I asked.

"Yeah, we did." He said. I nodded. He walked off.

"Vic, I swear to god. If you're lying to me, everything between us will be over." I said.

"I'm not lying to you!" He said.

"Yeah? Well it sure feels like it!" I yelled. Everyone was looking at us.

"What? Just because I wasn't able to pick you up this morning? Or what?" He asked.

"No! Everytime I'm over at your house you're always on your phone!" I said. "You know what, Vic? I'll see you later." I said and walked into class. I walked up to the teacher. "Can I switch seats with someone?" I asked.

"Who would you like to switch with?" She asked.

"Austin." I said. She nodded.

"Mr. Carlile, you're going to be sitting between Matty and Vic. Kellin, you'll now be sitting next to Craig Owens." She said. I nodded and went and sat beside Craig. Austin smiled at me and walked to where I was sitting.

"Hey, man." Craig said.

"Hey." I said.

"Were you the one who planted the stuff in Austin's locker?" He asked.

"No, but someone just said it was me." I said. He nodded.

"Anyways, I may not have officially introduced myself before but I'm Craig Owens." He said.
