That night after school, Tammy and Lillian walked to Lillian's together. The first lesson didn't go so good, though.

"Try slouching," Tammy said. "When I try to sit up, it hurts my back." Lillian slid down in her chair. She bounced right back up. "I can't do this," she said. "C'mon, slouch!" Tammy said. "You can't give up now!" After four more unsuccessful tries, Lillian decided to teach Tammy something.

Tammy tried brushing her tangled hair. Lillian sprayed it with hair spray. Suddenly, Tammy looked like a whole new person.

Since Tammy's lesson had gone so good, she tried to get Lillian to fall down the stairs.

Lillian stood at the head of her perfectly-polished staircase. Then, she through herself down. She bounced down like a bouncy ball and then landed on her feet again.

Lillian sighed. It wasn't working.

So Lillian showed Tammy how to brush her teeth properly. They glimmered.

So Lillian tried to get bit by her dog. Coco only licked her. So Tammy tried. Coco chomped down hard. "Yee-ouch!" Tammy cried. So Lillian tried again. Coco did nothing. "She probably doesn't want to betray her owner," said Tammy.

Lillian doubted it.

After trying unsuccessfully to get burned on the stove, lost in the woods, and trapped in a closet, Tammy went home. She looked beautiful. She could now walk on high heels without falling, and she did.

Lillian flopped down on her bed. Tammy's lesson has gone well. Why hasn't hers?
