At school, nothing changed. There was a banana peel in the middle of the hallway. She tried to slip on it, but it just skidded away from her. Lillian sighed.
As she kept walking, she heard a shriek and a THUD from behind her. She turned around and saw that a girl from her class named Tammy had slipped on the banana peel. Lillian hurried back to help her up. "Are you okay?" She asked her. "I don't know," Tammy groaned, rubbing her back. "I landed right on the bruise I got last night. I fell down the stairs."
I wish I could fall down the stairs, Lillian though jealously.
"I'm so unlucky!" Tammy cried. "I wish I could have perfect hair, and a perfect smile, and a perfect life like you, Lillian." "I hate being perfect," Lillian replied. "I wish I could have messy hair, and something in my teeth whenever I smiled and an un-perfect life like you, Tammy."
"I'm pretty good at being klutzy," Tammy said with a Cheerios-filled smile. "Maybe I could teach you." "Oh, would you?" Lillian cried happily. "And I'll teach you how to be perfect." "Can I come over tonight?" Tammy asked. "Like after school?" "Sure," Lillian replied.
Suddenly, she couldn't wait till after school.
