**************

It's been three days since the little "dance" between Issac and I. For some reason, it's still engraved in my mind. They all still come to the shop and order their usual morning coffees, Danny and Matt still bicker to each other, and well Issac and I? Issac is acting back to his normal gentlemen self. Not once have we spoken about that night.

Which is all weighing down on me.

Does he even remember?

He was drunk but I mean he didn't slur so I'm not sure if he was really drunk or not.

I've just been really confused since that night.

My feelings have been all over the place since then. It's been so bad, that even Kevin started to notice that I've been a little jumpy.

Well, it's now Sunday, which means Kevin and I are off of work. And you know what I'm doing?

Cleaning dishes.

Yup....when you're so bored and have nothing to do this is what happens.

You just clean the house.

Grown up life.

"Marcy"

I glance at a very unshaved Kevin, as he makes his way towards me.

"I have news for you"

Oh great. It's probably about his company. Let me practice my pretend excitement face.

"What is it?" I ask with false anticipation, turning around to face him.

"We're going on a date"

I pause, blinking at his words. What did he just say?

"What?" I ask, completely baffled.

He chuckles and grabs my waist, pulling me to him. "We're going on a date" he repeats happily.

"Why?" I blurt out before I can even control it.

Why? Why now?

"Because well, I'm off work. You're off work. We barely spend time together, so I figured maybe we can just try to do something." He says, massaging up and down my arms.

I have no words.

None.

Why is he doing this? It's not even our anniversary.

"What do you say?" He asks.

"Uhh sure" is all that comes out of my mouth as I try to figure it what he's up to.

He smiles down at my answer and places his lips on mine. My lips for some reason freeze at first and then reacts to his kisses. He deepens it a little before pulling away. "Okay hun, I'm going to make some reservations at a restaurant." All of a sudden I feel him place something in my hand. "Here's my credit card if you want to shop for a dress or outfit for our date. 8'o clock." When he finishes, he grabs his car keys from the key hook next to the door, before leaving.

I just stand there. Thinking.

What just happened.

Yesterday, the only reason he spoke to me was to clean the bathroom and that he was hungry.

Now all of a sudden, he wants a date?

This is weird. Reallyyyyy weird.

But isn't what you've always wanted Marcy?

True.

Maybe I should just give it a try. And go and shop for tonight.

Yup. That's what I'm going to do.
