How to Judge (Criteria)

Welcome Judges! In order for every story to be judged fairly, please follow this outline while judging your stories.

COVER /15
~ Did it capture your interest and make you want to read the story?
~ Was it edited well? (Is it blurry, a bad picture, hard to see, etc)
~ Does it relate to the title and story? Would you change anything?

Title /10
~ Is the title creative or something common?
~ Does the title relate to the story and plot? Would you change this title?

Description /15
~ Does it successfully inform you of the story's content?
~ Is it interesting and creative?
~ Does it make you want to read the story? Would you add it to your library/reading lists based on just the description?

Plot and Storyline /15
~Is the plot interesting and fun? (DO NOT deduct points for cliché stories. Some people have better ideas than others which is how ideas become cliché)
~Does the plot and storyline give the readers a good idea of pace and time? Do you know what events occurred when?
~Was there a plot twist or something big that kept you interested? (Such as an introduced live interest, an ongoing interesting problem, or anything that made you want to keep reading?)

Creativity /5
~ (Even if it's main idea is cliché) Was their new ideas throughout the story you've never seen before?

Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation /10
~ Does the author use correct forms of each?

Overall product and enjoyment /10
~ Did it feel like a chore to read the story?
~ Do you want to continue reading this story after judging it? Would you add it to your library?

Therefore, every story judged must have a final score of 80.
