Chapter 15: To The Rescue!

*Bangs head on the wall* I really need to stop asking for TBNRFish24's help!!! Okay, I don't mind the help but seriously I need to come up with my own ideas! Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

~~Mitch's POV~~
"Alright, guys. Here's the plan. We're gonna send Vikk to distract the thing. Then, when it's distracted, we rush in to attack it. Any objections?" I asked.

"Umm. No. Sorry, Mitch. That's not happening. I am seeing a few holes in that plan, such as VIKK COULD GET HURT OR POSSIBLY DIE!!" Lachlan replied.

"Lachlan, that's exactly why we attack the monster when it lets its guard down." Rob reasoned.

"No, this isn't going to happen. I know that you're in love Jerome, Mitch, but I'm not risking Vikk's life. There has to be another way." Lachlan argued. Vikk sighed, clearly accepting the plan, but not knowing if Lachlan would.

"I agree with Mitch and Rob," Preston said. "It's a good plan. If Vikk gets in trouble, we'll be there to save him."

"You too Preston? Oh, come on. Am I really the only one who-" Lachlan was cut off by Vikk lunging at him and wrapping his arms around Lachlan's neck. Vikk buried his face in Lachlan's neck and nuzzled it.

"I'm going to be alright Lachy because I know that you'll be there to protect me," Vikk whispered against Lachlan's neck. Lachlan wrapped his long arms around Vikk's waist tightly as if he was trying to pull Vikk even closer.

"Okay."

~~3rd P.O.V~~
Vikk ran towards the opening of the small room that the creature and Jerome were in. However, as he approached the room, he could hear Jerome talking to the creature and listened in.

"Scared little Jerome? I bet you are... You're just a pathetic little kid." The creature, which Vikk now realized was an enderman hybrid, spat.

"W-who a-a-are y-you?!" Jerome stuttered.

"My name is Lilith, but you can call me your worst nightmare," Lilith said menacingly. Vikk scoffed in disgust and walked in front of the entrance of the room.

"Hey ugly!!" Vikk yelled, directly aiming the insult at Lilith.

"What did you call me?!" Lilith demanded, her piercing purple eye stare into Vikk's soul.

"You heard me! Now come over here and fight me!!" Vikk challenged the hybrid.

"If you insist." Lilith sarcastically responded, walking over. She shoved her sharp diamond sword at Vikk's throat as she backed him up against the wall.

Something in Lachlan snapped in him as he saw the scene. His breathing hitched as he felt anger boiling in him before he knew it, he snapped.

Lachlan dashed around the corner and punched Lilith in the face. The hybrid shrieked in surprise and swung her sword at Lachlan, who grabbed it. Bloodlust completely taking over his body, Lachlan roared in anger and shoved the sword back at Lilith, slightly cutting her chest.

She growled in frustration and brought the sword down towards Lachlan's head, but he dodged her attack and grabbed her sword, ripping it out of her hands.

He then struck Lilith's arm with the diamond sword, creating a deep gash. She released the cry of an enderman as she clutched her injured arm in pain and agony.

Vikk watched in utter shock as Lachlan used the sword to create a large cut across Lilith's chest. He then pulled out the sword and shoved it into the enderman hybrid's head, cutting through her skull and ending Lilith's life.

~~Vikk's P.O.V~~
It all happened so fast, I catch my breath as I turned to face Lilith's dead body with the sword still impaled into her head. I glanced at Lachlan, bits of blood sloshed on his fabric on his black shirt.

Lachlan looked up, snapped back to reality and braced me into a hug. "Vikky...Are you alright?" I could feel him trembling in fear as his tears drenched my black hair. I nodded in silence, he finally let go from the embrace.

I looked up and stare at his blue eyes, I felt an aura of a python wrapping around my neck. It felt so frightening it sends shivers down my spine to just look into his eyes.

His bloodlust is pretty scary.

Lachlan noticed me, shaking as I saw his eyes. He closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them again to reveal his normal electric blue ones. I hugged him, catching him by surprise before replying. "I'm alright thanks to you."

I glanced at the entrance to see the others coming in. Rob quickly went to Jerome, healing his wounds. Mitch ran up and hugged him, taking Jerome even himself surprised.

"I'm so glad you're okay..." Mitch whispered to Jerome's ear. Jerome started sobbing to himself as Mitch soothed him. "I-i'm-m s-s-o-o g-glad y-you g-guys came for m-me!" He cried out.

"Lachlan I'm sorry I put Vikk in danger in order to save Jerome," Mitch mouthed out to Lachlan and I well mostly Lachlan. "It's alright," he mouthed back, Mitch nodded and went back to comfort Jerome.

I looked at Lachlan, who was rubbing his temples. I felt a tint of blush came across my face, I went to him and jumped up, giving him a peck on the cheek. I blushed as his face turned as red as a tomato, I could hear Preston squealing with Rob trying to calm him down.

"T-that's-s m-my t-thanks f-o-or h-he-l-lping m-me," I stuttered as I quickly walk to Lilith's dead body, leaving Lachlan with a even darker blush on his face. I kneeled down and search for her pockets on her dress. When I searched her, second pocket embedded on her dress, I felt a cold sensation of metal surge through my fingertips.

I pulled it out to reveal a bronze key, shaped like a star, very unique... I saw something shine at the corner of my eye. I went towards it, and found a green door, decorated with purple decorations at the side. I found a key hole that is below the door knob.

I inserted the key and turned it anti-clockwise, earning a loud and clear satisfying click. I gestured the guys to come over as I turned the door knob and opened the door.

"Well guys we completed Level 1. But what level 2 and 3 will be like?" Preston question as we shrug. I gulped and walked forward towards the entrance followed by the others.

Only one way to find out...
