~~Lachlan's P.O.V~~
"Alright boys, I think that's enough training for one day," Shadow exclaimed as Mitch jumped up and ran towards the hallway, which was revealed after we reach the platform, screaming his head off.

"My poor eardrums..." I whined as the rest chuckled at my comment. "Let's get back to our room guys."

~~Back At Their Room~~
"Heyyy Lachlan?"

I snap out of my trance, turning my head towards the Canadian, Rob. "What's up, man?"

"The ceiling. Anyway, I wanted to ask you about your..." He paused for a while. "Dad."

My eyes widen at the mention of him before I stare into his brown orbs as he winces.

"Too direct?"

"No. I think it's time I told you guys about him..." I said, inhaling a deep breath. Vikk wraps his arms around me giving me a smile, which I did the same.

Why does he have to be so fudging adorable?

Thinking to myself as I began my story about my dad...

<~Flashback~> (Change to 3rd Person)

"You can't catch me, Daddy!" 11-year-old Lachlan yelled, running around the sprinklers in his family's backyard.

"Oh, I'll catch you alright!" His dad laughed, jogging slowly after him. Though Lachlan was running and he wasn't even really trying to catch the blond, his father caught up with him and carefully tackled Lachlan to the ground, flipping both around so that his father was underneath him before they hit the ground.

The little blond laughed on his dad's stomach, kicking his legs up in the air wildly. The older man under him chuckled as he set him on the spring grass.

Suddenly, a man appeared behind them. He was wearing black pants and a black zipperless jacket. He had pulled the hood up and his hands were in his hoodie pocket.

Staring at him with curiosity, wondering what he was doing just watching them. This brought the strange figure to his father's attention, and he sat up, turning around quickly. When he saw the odd man, he stood them up and hugged his child to his side.

"My my Leo. Long time no sees," The newcomer spoke in a gruff voice.

"I wish it had been longer," His dad scoffed.

"Dad?" Lachlan whispered.

"Hush Little Lachy," He hushed his kid softly, attempting to soothe him.

"He wants your son, which means I want your son," The concealed man stated with sturdiness and seriousness to his voice.

"What makes you think that I'll just hand him over?" His dad growled.

"Never said that I thought that, did I?"

"Either way, you want him. Don't care whether you thought that or not. I ain't giving him away. Especially not to you." His dad retorted back.

"We have you surrounded. It gives 'em up or dies," The man said. Lachlan looked behind him to see his mother looking out the window and calling the police.

Turning back to his father, seeing the person who raised him had tears in his eyes, but he blinked them back.

"I choose death."

He yanked Lachlan to the ground and wrapped himself around him in a protective position. The next thing he knew, all he could hear were gunshots and police sirens.
