Chapter 9: United

~~Lachlan's P.O.V~~
"So...how's life?" The boy with the flower crown on his head, which I learned is Rob asked. So basically the group of boys is sitting on my couch while some are on the floor.

"It's great actually 'cause I'm sitting in my living room with 5 complete strangers I just met and we have powers! I've never been better," I sarcastically said with jazz hands as some of them snorted or chuckled at my sacarsm.

"Dang for a tall Aussie like you. You have a lot of sarcasm," the short British boy, which was in my dream, Vikk commented. As I attempt a sassy hairflip but failed miserably.

I peak a glance at Preston,who was wearing the fire hoodie, was on the lap of Rob as he played his brown hair. "Poofless~" Mitch, who was sitting on the floor, clearly teasing the two boys.

"Shut up," Preston gritted his teeth as I felt the room start to get warmer. "But you two are so cute together~" Vikk cooed as he fake pout his lips at the Poofless couple. "I swear Vikram if you do that one more time, I'll beat you up with my Mule-Goat," he answered.

The room was silent as Vikk bit his lip tight from letting out a laugh l. It broke as Mitch and Jerome burst out of laughter as Mitch shouted through his laughter,"With...his Mule-Goat!"

"My Notch!" Jerome cried as Preston can't hold the fact of what he comment and started laughing along with the rest of us.

After a few moments, we all have red faces and tears from laughing. "My Notch that was the funniest comment I've ever heard!" I wiped a tear from my right eye with my finger as all of us stop giggling like school girls.

"I was actually surprised myself on my comment!" Preston proclaimed as Vikk sat up 'cause he was literally rolling on the floor laughing a few moments ago.

I smiled at how we get along so well even though I just met these guys. I felt a tug in my red hoodie as I turn to see Vikk staring at me with his deep swirling chocolate eyes. It felt so comforting...

"I think we got a new ship boys!" Rob shrieked, causing us to break our gaze as the boys start making kissy faces at us. "Vikklan and Merome! You're all so adorable!" Preston squealed as Rob trying to calm him down.

"Don't forget Poofless is still a thing~" I reminded him,wiggling my eyebrows as the two boys blushed as bright as a tomato.

"Now what?" Jerome ask as on cue the doorbell rang. I ran towards the door and answer it to see a girl at my age. She's 5'6, she has long black wavy hair with purple tips at the ends ,which reach until half of her forearms. She has chocolate eyes,which glistened in the sunlight, and she wore a black flannel T-shirt which says,"Don't Mess With This Girl!"in white font, faded blue ripped jeans and black sneakers.

"Hi, and who are you?" I asked as the girl smiled and stretched out her hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Lachlan, I'm Shadow Viper call me Shadow. I have to take you and the boys back to base so you could be trained," she answered in cheerful manner. I accepted her hand and shook it. And went back to the guys.

"Who is it?" Vikk ask curiously, cocking his head to the side. I felt my heart started to beat a faster pace.

Oh Notch, he's too cute when he does that and his height even makes him more adorable!

Then his eyes widen and his cheeks flushed a deep red as I raise my eyebrows at the guys, who snickered and smile. "Vikk has mind reading," Mitch answered, smiling and wiggling his eyebrows as I buried my face on my hands as my face reddens. I swear I'm having a competition with a tomato as my blush darken.

That means he heard what I thought! Great going Lachlan!

"*Ahem!*" A cough interrupted the teasing and all eyes are on Shadow as she leaned against the wall for support.

"Sorry to interrupt the Vikklan moment here but let introduce myself, again..." She grumbled under her breath, before continuing. "I'm Shadow, I need you to follow me back to base for training."

All eyes were on Vikk as he nodded his head, signalling she's telling the truth. "Come on follow me," She gestured her hand to follow us as we went out of the door one by one until I'm the last. I turn towards my mum and embraced her in a tight hug, not wanting to let go.

After that, I let go as I said a soft goodbye before rushing out of the door to catch up with the others. But what I did not notice, a black figure with white glowing eyes before it teleported away...

~~Shadow's P.O.V~~
"Do you think we could trust her Vikk?" Rob whispered to Vikk as he answered with a shrug. Mitch rolled his eyes at him,"You're no help at all."

"All I know she's telling the truth of going to her base but I can't read any more 'cause it's blocked," Vikk sighed in frustration as I spoke up,"I could hear you, you know." Making them jump in surprise as I spoke for the first time.

"We're here," I called to them as I went towards an oak tree and pushing a button revealing a speaker hidden. "Password," the voice I knew is Dan spoke (A/N: Dantdm btw(by the way) guys) from the end of the speaker.

I look over my shoulder to see the guys talking amongst themselves. I brought my mouth close to the speaker, whispering the password," Ice cream with red bean paste."

"You have to do the noise," Dan exclaimed as mumbled under my breath," Sky is going to get it tonight..." I sighed as I cupped my right hand over my mouth and made a farting sound and as usually, Sky laughing at the background. The contraption close and the invisblitly wore off, the guys probably are shock and jaws have drop.

I smiled and walked in as the door closed as soon as Poofless were the last to step in.

"Welcone to Headquarters!" I announced as the Pack stared in awe...
