Chapter 30: New Allies

~~Lachlan's POV~~
"So was that planned or what just happened?" I asked.

"Nope, we just came to tell you to break the windows so that we could get out of here. I called up an old friend and told them about our situation. She said that we could stay at her base for a while." Shadow told us. Jason blasted the nearest window with his suit while Rob sealed the last of Tyler's gashes.

"Alright, let's go," Tyler said, stumbling to his feet.

"No. I'm carrying you there," Jason insisted.

"But-"

"No butts. Those are for sitting," Jerome joked.

"There's absolutely no way that Jason's just gonna let you walk the way there, much less jump through a window and run," Mitch laughed. Tyler sighed.

"Fine," He huffed, crossing his arms. Smiling at his little potato, Jason picked up Tyler and hugged him to his chest muttering something along the lines of 'I'll never come that close to losing you again.'. Even though he was trying his best to resist Jason, Tyler couldn't help but snuggle into the blue-eyed boy.

"Let's hurry. Everyone else should be evacuating the building right now. All this MunchingUniverse might be attracting mobs," Elizabeth giggled. Jason shushed her but jumped out of the window anyway. After I helped Vikk through, I went through myself. Everyone else followed except for Rob. Instead of climbing through the window, his face paled and he grabbed his sword before dashing out the window and pushing us forward.

"RUN!! THEY FOUND US!!" He screamed. We all sprinted away as fast as we could. The Flyers, who could travel much faster than we could, tailed us as best as they could.

"WHY DON'T WE FIGHT THEM?!" Preston called back.

"THERE WERE THOUSANDS!! WE COULDN'T FIGHT THEM BY OURSELVES!!" Rob answered.

"You guys go on ahead! We'll hold 'em off!" Shadow yelled, waving for Ty, Adam, and Elizabeth to follow her while drawing her sword.

"Just keep going straight!" Sky directed us. We ran for hours through the thicket until we decided that we could afford to stop to take a 'short' break.

"How's everyone holding up?" Tyler asked, perfectly fine and not sweating at all because Jason had carried him bridal style the whole way.

"We're fine thanks... Jason, do you think you could try carrying someone else for once?" Vikk asked. Jason's eyes widened and he shook his head furiously before burying it in Tyler's neck and kissing his lover's cheek softly.

"Oh my gosh! Just get married already!" Mitch seriously suggested.

"That's a good idea..." Jason said thoughtfully.

~~Time Skip~~
"Are we there yet?" Preston groaned.

"Not yet son," Rob joked, ruffling Preston's hair playfully. Preston stuck his tongue out at the elder while Vikk's eyes seemed to be focused on something other than the conversation.

"Vikk? Are you o-" I was cut off by a meifwa jumping out of a nearby bush and running at us with a diamond sword. Vikk whipped out his own weapon and locked swords with the newcomer. I vaguely noticed that the meifwa were a male with black hair and white ears with light blue tips. He was wearing a purple, white, and grey outfit. That is before I pulled out by dual swords and positioned myself back to back with Tyler, who was holding a diamond long sword.

"Ok! What's going on?" Jerome, who was now in combat with what seemed to be a male squirrel hybrid, asked.

"I-I don't know Biggums!" Mitch replied, trying to disarm ginger... dinosaur hybrid? You don't see those every day... I thought to myself at Robert and I faced our opponent, a red-headed man. Preston and Jason stood up straight and matched themselves up with a black-haired werewolf duo.

I swung one of my swords to the right of my opponent, and Rob swung down onto the hybrid's head. However, the dino skillfully held me off with an iron dagger and used a diamond sword to block Rob's attack. Keeping my sword against the boy's dagger, I turned around and used my other weapon to disarm our opponent of his diamond blade, allowing Rob to slice through the hybrid's skull, but he swiftly avoided the lethal edge. As he did so, he kicked Rob in the gut, which caused the brunette to stumble back a little bit, but I was able to just barely slice his arm, causing him to cry out in pain.

"WOAH WOAH WOAH! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?" Shadow asked from on top of Enderlox's back. Next to the siblings, flew the two Brines. We all continued fighting with each other anyway.

"We're getting ambushed! That's what's going on here!" the female werewolf replied.

"No, you're not! These guys are with us!" Sky stated.

"Wait what's going on?" Rob coughed."EVERYONE STOP FIGHTING!!" Elizabeth screamed so loud that there's no way that her lungs weren't burning right now. Everyone, not only listened to the terrifying girl with, now very bright, dark blue eyes, but we all dropped our weapons and sat down. (A/N I've done that before... I actually do that kind of a lot. I think I need to stop, it burns my lungs. One time I did it in school when the teacher was in the bathroom, and everyone sat down and shut up. It was great. -Fish)

"Alright. Elizabrine. Thank you. Please shut up now. Everyone else, let us explain." Ty sighed. "Aph, Jason, Max, Ross, Red, Jin, this is Vikk, Lachlan, Rob, Preston, Mitch, Jerome, Tyler, and... Jason."

"Oh... Uh... In that case... Sorry, we... attacked you..." Jin, the meifwa, laughed nervously.

"Nah, it's alright! Sorry about your arm Red," I apologized. He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's ok! I just... I just don't think Barney will be very happy. Actually, I know he won't be very happy," Red sighed.

"Who's Barney?" Preston asked.

"Oh... He's just... uh... RED'S BOYFRIEND!!" Adam yelled. Red turned the colour of his name.

"Sh-shut up Adam!" Red yelled.

"I mean, he's not wrong, Red," Max reasoned. Red glared at him but didn't say anything.

"Here," Rob said, extending his hand out to Red. Very confused, Red took Rob's hand, which they allowed Rob to seal the gash.

"WAIT for WHA-" Aphmau was cut off by Shadow.

"Besides Jason and Tyler, they're the chosen six," Shadow stated.

"So Jason and Tyler are just along for the ride," Ross said in a high, soft voice, which I assumed was his normal voice. Max smiled and wrapped an arm around Ross's waist. Ross smiled and leaned into him before kissing his cheek.

"Why is everyone gay?" Mitch asked rhetorically.

"It's contagious," Jin replied.

"Wait but we're not gay!" Jason the werewolf replied.

"Oh yeah... We're married by the way." Aphmau said.

"Cool! Any suggestions on ring shops?" I asked.

"I know a few places, why?" The male werewolf asked.

"The other Jason wants to get married too." Preston grinned, causing Tyler to blush.

"Huh, I should start thinking about that too," Skybrine commented.

"My Notch! Can we please just get to your base, Aph?!" Shadow exclaimed. Aphmau giggled and gestured us to follow her.
