Clint's POV

I think we're dating. I actually have no clue how this works. I know we're something, it's obvious something is going on. We just haven't put any labels on it. I'm going to talk to him about it.

It's been two weeks since we were in the lab. Since then, Pietro and I have been spending a lot of time together. At some point during that time, he started staying in my room with me. We never acknowledged the unspoken thing between us, but we both knew it was there.

Pietro sighed and tossed a shirt at me, standing with his arms crossed. "Clint Barton, you won't talk to me!" He exclaimed, shaking his head.

I snapped out of my thoughts, throwing the shirt back. "Sorry, what were you saying?"

He shot me a glare, groaning. "I was saying that Wanda and Natasha have been getting a lot closer lately!"

I laughed and nodded, moving to sit on my bed. "Yeah, they have, haven't they?" I asked, falling back onto the bed and sighing.

Pietro threw the shirt in the corner and sat next to me, his back against the wall. "I don't know how to feel about it. Natasha is a good person, yes?" He asked, glancing down at me.

I sat up and smiled, nodding. "Natasha is a really good person despite her past, your sister will be okay, Piet," I said, reassuring him.

He sighed and leaned over, his head resting against my shoulder. "I know, I'm just worried about her," He mumbled, sighing loudly.

"Nothing to be worried about, everything will be okay."

Pietro stayed silent, his head still against my shoulder. I didn't move, not wanting to knock him out of his thoughts. When Pietro is thinking, it's normally good. He would get into this headspace and try to get bad memories out, which I knew nothing of.

He moved away from me and sighed. "I'm going to go visit Wanda, I'll see you later," He said, smiling and leaving the room. I sighed and followed, but not visiting anyone.

I went downstairs to the lab to see what Bruce and Tony were up to, but instead met Steve. "Hope you weren't planning on seeing Tony, I just yelled at him for overworking himself," Steve said, shrugging.

I frowned and shook my head. "Guess I'm not anymore, oh well. How's it going?" I asked, turning around and walking back upstairs beside Steve.

Steve sighed and shook his head. "I'm alright. Just kind of stressed out. Earlier I heard that another one of my old war buddies died, cancer. I guess it's all apart of it though."

I glanced over at him, shaking my head. "Damn, Steve. That really sucks, I'm sorry," I said, sighing.

He shrugged and stayed silent. When he finally talked, it startled me a bit. "What's going on with you and the kid? Pietro?" He asked, looking over at me.

I tensed up, looking straight ahead. "No clue what you're talking about, nothing is going on," I said too quickly, damnit.

He laughed and put a hand on my shoulder, causing me to look at him. "You can't say there's nothing there, I can tell you feel something for him. You wouldn't have tensed up if I hadn't struck a nerve. You care for him, don't you?"

I shook my head. "I'm not saying a word, Cap. Sorry."

Steve could only shake his head, obviously seeing through my lies. I didn't want anyone to know anything yet, especially without knowing if Pietro was ready. Hell, I don't even know if we're officially dating. Who would have thought I would be thinking like this?

"Clint? Do you ever listen to anything?" I heard Pietro call out. I glanced at Steve, frowning when I saw his amused smirk.

I shoved Steve away and went over to Pietro, trying to ignore the silly grin on both of our faces.

Pietro smiled at me and glanced back at Steve. "Are you telling people about.. us?" He asked slowly, keeping his voice down to a hushed whisper.

I only shook my head, pulling him away. "Are we.. dating?" I asked carefully, leaning against the wall/

Pietro giggled, probably the cutest noise I'd ever hear, and shrugged. "Well, you never asked me."

"I guess I should change that, huh?" I asked, fighting off a smile. Pietro nodded, smiling slightly.

I cleared my throat and grinned, making a big show of everything. "Pietro Maximoff, will you be my boyfriend?" I asked, grinning like an idiot.

He smiled and nodded, laughing. "Yes, I will."

I smiled and bit my lip, nodding. "Great, that's good. We should go on a date."

Pietro glanced up at me. "A date? Really?" I could see the excitement in his eyes. The way he bounced a little and grinned a little wider.

"Yes, a date. Me and you. Maybe not in public, but on the roof? A picnic under the stars?" I suggested, smiling at him.

He nodded excitedly. "That sounds amazing! I-I've never been on a date before," Pietro shrugged, the smile still evident on his face.

I smiled and nodded, sighing in content. "Well, I'm glad to be your first. Meet me at the roof tonight at nine thirty," I winked and walked away, leaving him alone.

-------

I had been on the roof since eight. I had everything set out, the blanket, the food. Hell, I even lit some candles. I waited for Pietro, smiling when I saw him.

Pietro opened the door slowly, glancing around. He had the brightest smile on his face, making me smile. "Clint! You did all of this for me?" He asked, closing the door and slowly walking over.

I nodded, grinning. "Yes, I did. Is it too much? I wanted to give you a kickass date, you know?"

He shook his head, sitting across from me. "No, it's not too much. Thank you, Clint. This is.. amazing," He smiled and looked at me, the candle light flickering across his face.

I smiled at him, nodding. "I'm glad you like it. I know you like the city at night, plus picnics are romantic."

Pietro nodded, looking at everything. The way the candle light was casting shadows on his face was beautiful. The shadows highlighted features no one would could see in the normal light. His blue eyes were illuminated, almost haunting.

"Clint, you're staring at me. Is something wrong?" The accented boy asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I cleared my throat and nodded, smiling at him. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Sorry, you just.. look really good."

He blushed and looked down, smiling slightly. "Thanks," He mumbled, laughing a bit.

We continued like that for at least three hours, just talking about random nonsense. I would compliment him, and he would flush an amazing red color. Beautiful.

The date ended when I realized it was midnight. "This was really nice Clint, best first date," Pietro said, standing and smiling at me.

"We're definitely doing this again," I said, putting my arm around his shoulder as I held the remnants of the picnic in my other arm. Pietro nodded and walked with me to his room, where I left him.

Before I reached my room, Pietro dashed over to me, quickly kissing me before running into his room. He was a giggling mess. I blushed a brilliant red color and went into my room, ending the night by sleeping.

A/N: I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! I'VE BEEN UNMOTIVATED TO WRITE SINCE SCHOOL STARTED LAST WEEK.

Anyways, I hope this was at least a good chapter. The ending was a bit rushed because I felt like I needed to quickly get out a chapter.
