it was time to go leave school and i couldn't be more excited.

johnny was going to drive me and lauren to my house so i could go grab all the things i would need. then he will drive us back to their house.

i was excited to live with my best friends, even it it was temporary.

Johnny

i don't know how i was feeling about kenz coming to live with us. part of me was super excited, but then part of me wasn't.

what if she sees this as only a family thing? what if i start treating this as only a family thing?

all these thoughts roamed my head as i was driving.

"a penny for your thought?" i heard come from the passenger side.

"hmm nothing much."

"john i know when somethings up, whats wrong?"

"do you treat me like an older brother." i hesitated to say it but i had to know.

"what that would be weird. i treat u like my best friend and my c- yeah my best friend."

i didn't half pay attention to what she said until i heard lauren giggle in the back.

"lauren shut up"

kenz wasn't happy because she said that through gritted teeth which she never does.

"we are here girls, please don't take too long."

"alright john." mackenzie said as she ruffled my hair. it was such a light gesture but it made my day.

Mackenzie

me and lauren walked into my house and immediately ran upstairs. we didn't want to take too long because johnny was waiting.

"hey lauren i can grab all my clothes if you want to go to the bathroom to grab my face cleaner, and tooth/bathroom stuff"

"alright on it" lauren said and we both just laughed.

as she walked out of my room i walked over to my closet and started with my jeans. then i pulled out some shorts since it was still warm. i then got my nicer shirts, and then multiple t-shirts.

i stuffed all of that into my suit case just as lauren was coming back in with everything i would need for the bathroom.

i looked under my bed and got out another bag for all the bathroom stuff, and then another for my shoes.

once i decided i had everything i needed, lauren helped my grad my bags and walk out.

~time skip~

we arrived to the orlando's house which seems even bigger now, that i'm staying here for a while.

johnny offered to grab my suit case, seeing as it was the heaviest. me and lauren then grabbed the smaller, less heavy bags.

they took me up the stairs and showed me to the guest room. obviously they don't remember i stay over here like all the time. but never in a guest room.

my room was across from johnny's room and next to lauren's.

there was a bathroom connecting me and lauren's bedroom, so i was excited about that. the way the bes was sat up, me and johnny could see each other if we left our doors open.

that scared me a little bit, because i know he doesn't feel the same. but maybe this will change things.

i started to unpack my bags with the help of lauren. she claimed she wanted this done and over with asap so we could start doing things.

"lauren i will be here for two weeks, we don't need to do everything today." i said with a little laugh.

"i know, but i've never had a 'sister'" she said using quotation marks around 'sister'.

"ok let's finish then."

~time skip~

we finally finished unpacking and we walked downstairs to the movie room.

i texted johnny and asked him if he wanted to join us. surprisingly he did. soon after he walked down the stairs he sat on the other side of me.

i could hardly focus on the movie due the fact that me and johnny were super close and almost cuddling.

my eyes started to get heavy so i slowly closed them. after all the packing i was so tired. i thought i was laying on lauren's shoulder but little did i know it wasn't her.

Johnny

mackenzie asked if i wanted to watch a movie with her, i was excited she wanted me to come with her.

i walked down the stairs and sat beside her, slowly pulling the covers over me. i heard her breathing hitch but didn't think anything of it.

i wasn't paying much attention to the movie, because it was some chick flick. i was about to get up and walk back to my room when i felt a head lay against my chest.

i looked over to see kenzie fast asleep. i wrapped my arms around her small body and puller her closer.

i fell asleep shortly after.
