After Subway we went to Mike's Milkshakes. I got Choco-Peanut butter, Tyler got Double Strawberry Chocolate Shake, and James got Almond Carmel.
After that we went to Safeway to pick up frozen pizza (pepperoni) a salad, Cheerios and milk.
We walked into the apartment and an older couple stood in the kitchen.
"Jamie!" The Woman said as she walked up to James to give him a hug.
The grocery bags were getting heavy so we walked around James and the woman to put the grocery on the counter.
"Who are they!" The Woman asked
"Mom, Dad this is Tyler." He said holding Tyler's hand. " She is my Girlfriend, and this is her sister Sam. " He said pointing to me.
"Congrat-" James' Dad (I guess) started
"Why on planet earth weren't we told about this!" His Mom ( I guess) screamed.
"We were going to come over for dinner tomorrow night Mom!!! And besides! I'm 18! You don t need to know everything!!" James yelled.
"Fine James! I guess we'll leave! C'mon Robert!" She said.
His dad followed out the door.
"I'm sorry about them Ty." James said
"It's ok James." She said and smiled.
"James?" I asked
" Ya? "
"Thank you." I said
Tyler got a cold.
More like the flu.
She was throwing up.
She had a fever of 103.
I tried to help.
But James wouldn't let me in their room.
I went to the kitchen to make myself a sandwich when I heard the door open behind me.
"Tyler wants to see you Sam." James said quietly.
I walked into their room to find Tyler looking pale and tired.
"Sam." She said quietly. "James is going to take me to the hospital. I will be back tomorrow. I love you." She said.
I reached down to give her a hug.
I was here alone.
Totally by myself.
Let's emphasize on this.
I'M ALONE IN A HOUSE THAT I JUST MOVED INTO THE OTHER DAY!!!!
Technically it's an apartment.
