We made it past the run down part of town and were presented with a giant apartment complex. It had a giant oak tree in the middle of the complex.
"Woah!" I said under my breath
We parked out bikes in the bike rack and walked to the glass door.
We walked into the elevator and Tyler pressed the button marked 8
It was peaceful in the elevator. The elevator music. The small wooden seat in the corner. Tyler having a dreamy look on her face. It was all just SO calming.
When we reached the floor we needed I didn't want to get off the elevator.
We walked down the hallway and reached the last apartment in the hall. #70
Tyler pushed open the door to find a boy with red hair sitting o the couch playing a video game.
"Are you going to give your girlfriend a hug?!" Tyler said to the redheaded boy.
"Oh! Didn't notice you were here Ty!" The boy said as he walked over to give her a hug.
I was hiding behind Tyler.
"So! What do you want to do? We can go to subway!" The boy said.
We were still standing in the doorway. I wanted to keep it that way but Tyler moved forward.
I stood frozen in the doorway.
"Who are you!?! The boy said.
" That's my sister! " Tyler said
"Oh!" Said the boy.
"Hi." I said
" James. I need to talk to you. In private. "
"Ok?" James said.

I knew what they were talking about.
Tyler was asking if we could stay.
For an extended period of time.
Like forever.
Literally.

I sat on light green couch looking at the the TV.
I had to pee.
I searched the house but then came to the conclusion that the 1 bathroom is in the bedroom that they were talking in.
About 5 minutes later Tyler and James came out.

"Can I use your restroom?" I asked James quietly.
"Of course! It's in the bedroom. Left hand side." He said kinda energetically.

I walked into the bedroom and turned left.
Ok. This guy likes tiki heads. I was thinking to myself as I walked into the bathroom.
It. Was. Full. Of. Tiki. Heads.
Red tiki heads. Brown tiki heads. Even rainbow tiki heads!
It was kinda creepy. I'll admit it.
I did my business and washed my hands.

I walked out to find James cooking what looked like tacos.
Tyler was sitting on the couch watching The Little Mermaid. Well actually she was sleeping but it was playing.
I walked to the kitchen and asked what he was making.
"Well. Your sisters favorite. Fish tacos." He said as he chopped cabbage.

Close enough to tacos! I thought
