Tyler started crying immediately.
So did Gramma.
And..... Not gonna lie. So did I. Just a tear.
I heard Tyler whisper " Yes. "
Grampa got up and patted James on the back.
Gramma engulfed Tyler in a hug.
Aunt Ann was so surprised she fainted.
I jumped up and hugged Tyler.
"Thank you." She said to me.
The next morning Gramma made pancakes for everybody.
While she was making them, Robin was complaining that nobody woke him up for the "action." As he called it.
Aunt Ann was grabbing the syrup when her phone rang.
"Its your Uncle Duke!" She yelled to me and Ty.
She walked over and answered.
"Hi Uncle Duke!" Me and Tyler chorused.
" Hey! How are my favorite girls?! " He said
"Were ok." I said
Grampa was helping us pack up to go home.
"Thanks for everything Grampa." Tyler said
" Your welcome dear. " He said in his deep rugged voice
"Bye Grampa." He I said
"Bye." He waved
I jumped in the car and waited for James and Tyler.
"Send me the wedding invitation as soon as you make it!" He said jokingly .
"Yes sir." James said and saluted
We pulled up to the apartment and got out.
James and Tyler were giggling about something in the elevator.
The elevator door opened revealing the long hallway of doors.
I walked in and plopped on the couch.
I turned on the TV to channel 186, The movie channel.
Tyler and James were now laughing out loud when we heard the someone knock on the door.
I jumped up and yelled "I got it!" And ran to the door.
" James? " I called
"Yes Sam?" He called back
" This guy needs you to sign for the package! " I yelled
" Ok ok.. I'm coming. "
He walked to the door and signed the package.
"Thank you" He murmured to the mailman.
Tyler walked out of the kitchen and say down on the couch.
"What do you got there?" She asked James
" Oh. Another Tiki Head. This one is pink! " He said
Tyler smiled.
I asked if I could go down to the pool.
"Sure." Tyler said
" Be safe! " James called as I walked out the door.
Later that night we went out to dinner.
Well. Tyler and James did.
I stayed home.
When they got home I was asleep on the couch.
The next morning I opened the fridge and went to reach for a yogurt cup when I saw the grossest thing ever to be on earth.
A rotten Potato with its skin slowly sliding off.
I couldn't eat my yogurt till it was gone.
I walked into Tyler and James room to ask James to do it since he was the man of the house.
But they were asleep.
I walked over to James' side of the bed.
"James." I whispered in his ear. " Theres a rotten Potato in the fridge and I want you to get it out. "
He groaned and turned over.
"James." I said a little louder
He still didn't wake up.
Looks like I'm not eating till he gets up.
