"Can I marry Tyler?"
I took a breath.
"Uh." I said out of breath.
I nodded slowly. I was smiling. I was happy for Tyler.
James jumped up and hugged me. I realized this was the first time he's hugged me.
He explained the plan to me,gramma , and grampa.
Grampa would go with James to town to pick out a ring.
I would stay here with Gramma and Tyler. At 12:30 we would all go to Al's Sandwich Palace.
While James and Grampa were in town they would pick up pizza and ceaser salad.
We would then go meet aunt Ann and Robin at the house.
We all come home.
Eat dinner.
And Ta da!!
I just hope it works.
I ran out to the car full of excitement.
I had to act like it was a normal day.
I was practically shaking with excitement once we got to the restaurant.
I ordered a ham sandwich with extra pickles and some yogurt
"Tyler?" I asked
" Ya Sam? "
"Happy birthday" I said
"Oh Sam!"
I was holding Be Creepy in my hands.
At the house we were greeted by Aunt Ann.
"Auntie Ann!!" I yelled
" How are you Muffin? " She asked
"Great!" I said
" Where are your parents? "
"Oh" I looked down
"I'll tell you inside Aunt Ann" Tyler said
Robin was inside watching Transformers.
"Hello Rotten." I said with a smile
"Hello Smell" He said back
I sat down on the couch to talk to him
"How's Uncle Dan?" I asked
"Still has Cancer." He said
" I'm sorry Robin. " I said
"Not your fault"
"Sam,Robin come to the table, we're going to play Yatzee!" Gramma called.
" Hello Robin! " Tyler said
"Hey Tired" He said with a grin
When we were little we made up Nicknames for each other. I was Smell, Robin was Rotten, and Tyler was Tired.
When James got back Tyler introduced Aunt Ann and Robin to him.
The pizza was delicious!
Pepperoni, Lumberjack,and Veggie.
We talked for a little bit and then Aunt Ann asked Tyler about our parents.
Tyler spoke up" They got in a divorce because dad got fired and he was throwing things out the window. "
The movie was great.
But I got to excited in the middle of the movie so I said I had to use the bathroom.
I wanted to scream with excitement.
When I came back Robin was asleep.
I acted like it was any old night and went to brush my teeth.
James looked like he was gonna barf , pass out and run out the door all at the same time.
I saw a little box pass into his hand.
Grampa walked over and looked James right in the eye and said
"You got this kid" then walked away and say in his chair.
It looked like that have James a boost of confidence.
Tyler walked down the stairs to come say goodnight.
She sat on the couch and looked a me. "Its past your bedtime." She said.
When she looked back at the TV she saw James on one knee.
"Tyler Tricle, will you marry me?"
