Tyler walker up and gave her a hug.
Gramma looked around.
"Who's house is this?" She asked
" Uh. This is my boyfriend James' house. Since you know mom and dad broke up. "
"What!! They did! What happened!" She yelled
"Dad got fired." I said. " He was yelling at mom for how little money she gets. "
James got home around five.
Gramma was playing Uno with me and Ty.
After all the introductions Gramma said that tomorrow night we were coming for dinner.
The next night I was putting on my butterfly dress.
I walked into the kitchen to ring Tyler in her pink dress with a black belt making a fruit salad.
"Tyler?" I asked
"Ya Sam?" She asked her eyes still on the salad.
"What do you want for your birthday?" I asked
" Oh Sam. You don't have to get me anything! " She said
"But I want to. So don't be stubborn and tell me what you want."
She laughed. "Either a pillow or books."
"What books?" I asked
"The Dark moon. Or Be Creepy."
" Got it! Thanks Ty! I said skipping back to the couch.
We left about a half hour later.
James was wearing a T-shirt that looked like a tuxedo jacket.
But I wasn't.
We drove to their house in James car.
When we got their we parked the car and as soon as I got out Pickle and Queena were running around me.
(Those are their dogs)
We walked inside and we saw Mrs Meow sitting on her bed.
(That's their cat)
Dinner was meatballs with BBQ sauce. And Ceaser salad. Oh and our fruit salad.
And for dessert we had chocolate peanut butter pie.
I went swimming in the pool.
Grampa met James.
And we watched America's Funniest Home Videos.
"So Sam. Robin is coming to visit tomorrow. Maybe you guys could come back tomorrow morning. Or use the spare bedroom. You could stay the night." She said hopefully.
Tyler looked over at James before answering. He nodded.
"Yes!" I said to myself.
