Pinky promises and spinning bottles

"I don't even want to know why that new kid won't at least glance my way, Emily." One of the girls pouted to her friend as she entered to class room.

Charlie has already made some fandoms already

The class slowly increased with teenagers making their way inside, their mouths running with happiness for whatever reason. I was amongst these people trying to prevent earning a detention slip for tardiness. But I was still one of the first people to arrive in class.

I sat down in my usual squeaky plastic blue chair which luckily for me, was closest to the window with Jordan on my right wing. I barely had time to brush my hair this morning so I found a loose hair tie in the bottom of my backpack to save me from the humiliation that is yet to come.

Seeing that Jor had not yet arrived yet, being the late comer that he is, I fished through my pockets to see what new junk I might have in there this time round. By the time I looked up, most of the kids were walking into class, and among them was Jordan wearing his usual berserk face.

I seriously need to ask him what sort of drugs he takes in the morning.

He nodded his head toward me, acknowledging my presence as he made his way towards me. He got his music folder out and before he looked up at me.

"Isn't it weird that the brain named itself?" he questioned as twiddling a pencil in his fingers.

"Okay... Where did that come from?" I said as my face crunched up with confusion while I stared at him.

"I had a dream I was having a really interesting conversation with Alb-" he whirred before he was shortly cut short with the entrance of the teacher.

Mr. Holland walked into the class and announced that we could all talk amongst ourselves while he got the song he wanted us to listen to for the lesson.

Another classical that I probably wouldn't ever listen to.

Jordan and I immediately jump into a conversation about music and what not.

"We should all sing the songs from the Spiderman movie soundtrack." Jordan said enthusiastically. I laughed at the suggestion as I shook my head.

"Do you think Stella has ever seen that movie?" he said looking over at her while she talked to her friends.

"You should invite her to go and watch it with you if you want to find out" I pummeled him with hints as I watched while he gazed at her.

He doesn't say anything while he gawks at her which has already turned into full on stalking, but a few minutes later she exists the room and he

"I can't do I Blair" he says looking at me again as the corners of his lips began to falter.

             "Why not?" I pestered.

"I just don't want to." he finished off as he kills the conversation.

I rolled my eyes at him skeptically.

He's a denial little brat sometimes.

As if on cue, Mr. Holland's afro pops back into class with a beaming smile, returning back to class and started playing some old classical songs that we would be singing at our next practice.
