LUKE'S POV

"Don't you trust me?" I asked her reaching for her hand.

I held it waiting anxiously for her response.

"I do. More than I've ever trusted anyone." She said.

"I promise I won't let anyone or anything hurt you. I won't take my eyes off of you for one second." I said.

She nodded and got out of the bed.

She went into the closet and changed into sweatpants and a tank top.

She took her charger and phone and shoved it into the carry on I packed for her.

"The Uber's here." I said as we took our stuff downstairs.

We got into the car and arrived at LAX.

We paid the driver and went inside.

Although it was stupidly early in the morning, it was already packed.

She latched onto my arm.

I put my arm around her as we walked to TSA.

"I really don't think I can do this." She said crying.

"Yes you can. I know you can. Just picture the relaxing beaches and sound of crashing waves." I said in a warm tone.

Her breathing started to quicken.

"Here. Squeeze my hand." I said putting my hand into hers.

"I don't want to hurt you." She said.

"I don't care. Just do it." I said.

I felr her squeeze down.

It only hurt a little bit, but it was worth it for her.

We made it through TSA and waited for our flight to be called.

She calmed down a little.

I started vlogging a little.

Thirty minutes later our flight was called.

The panic and anxiety came back.

"I got you." I whispered putting my arm around her waist.

We got our seats and she started freaking out.

"What if we die? What if we crash? What if you die but I survive. Jesus I can't live without you." She rambled trying to undo her seatbelt.

"Ryder, babe. I need you to listen to me. All this anxiety is caused by irrational fear. I promise you nothing bad is going to happen." I said holding her hand.

"Focus on your breathing and count to ten with me." I said.

She calmed down after.

"Here's your phone and earbuds. Cancel out the rest of what's going on and focus on your music." I said.

She put them in and leaned onto me.
