LUKE'S POV

I drove us home.

I opened my door expecting Ryder to follow.

She was still sitting there.

"Ryder?" I asked opening her door.

She was asleep.

I chuckled to myself and picked her up.

"I got you, babe." I whispered to myself.

I carried her into the apartment and laid her on the bed.

"You must be exhausted." I said sitting next to her.

I honestly don't blame her.

She didn't say anything, but I knew she was stressed and anxious going into this little meeting.

Then with Griffin attacking her and her shutting down, she must be exhausted.

"Sleep, babe." I whispered stroking her hair.

Mikey Murphy: There's a lot I didn't get to say because you guys left so soon. But I apologize for saying Ryder didn't have anxiety. She clearly showed us today. (That wasn't meant to be shady btw) I also apologize for Griffin's actions you know how she can get sometimes. Our girlfriends don't have to be friends, but we can.

Luke 🌽: Thank you, Mikey. Ryder and I really appreciate that. It's going to take a while to gain your trust but we can definitely take baby steps.

Wes10: Hey Luke. How's Ryder?

Lukey: She's sleeping. Poor thing tired herself out.

Wes10: It's Margarita. The way you talked to Ryder is the way I wished you talked to me...

Lukey: Are we still aren't over this? You're my past and she's my present. You were a great friend. But now I can't even look at you the same way.

I put my phone down and sighed.

To distract myself, I edited the video of Ryder and I in the Dominican Republic.

I posted it.

I then posted a picture of her.

She was splashing me with water and laughing.
