LUKE'S POV

Ah.

Precious sleep.

I roll over to bring Ryder closer to me.

She wasn't there.

I walk around the room calling her name.

She left a note on the table.

I read it and laughed.

I probably scared her off with my attitude.

I got dressed for the day and walked outside to find her.

I saw her by the ocean.

I walked over to her and slipped her hand in with mine.

"What're you thinking about?" I asked.

"How blessed I am to have you. You saved my life. If my parents had kicked me out and we weren't dating, I don't know where I would be right now. Knowing me, I would've drove until my car broke down." She said to me.

"Babe, you're my everything. You don't know how thankful I am that I had that meet and greet. If I hadn't, I would be stuck with them. Still waiting for someone like you. Still wondering what it's like to love. You changed my life." I said spinning her so she was facing me.

"I never want to stop feeling like this." She whispered.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Like I'm flying." She said.

I kissed her.

How couldn't I?

She's perfect in every way possible.

When we pulled away, I smirked at her.

"What?" She asked.

"Nothing, nothing." I said raising my hands up.

She smirked and raised an eyebrow at me.

I grabbed her waist and pushed her into the water.

She gasped and I started laughing.

"You're going to pay for this, Korns!" She said chasing me.

I laughed as she splashed me with water.

After about twenty minutes, we were both soaked.

Soaked, but happy.
