"Go and get ready, I have a surprise for you." He said.
"Fancy?" I asked.
"I think the dress I packed for you will reveal the answer." He winked.
I playfully rolled my eyes and dug through my suitcase.
I went into the bathroom with the dress in hand.
I put it on and looked in the mirror.
"So sexy?" I asked from the bathroom.
"More or less." He said as I pictured him smirking.
He had packed a black skin tight strapless dress that pushed my chest area up.
I smiled to myself as I did my hair and makeup.
"Babe, did you pack shoes for this dress?" I asked coming out of the bathroom.
He couldn't stop staring at me.
"Staring is bad, Luke." I said.
"What was the question?" He asked blushing.
I giggled, "Did you pack shoes for this dress?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. In your suitcase." He said.
I found a pair of black heels.
"I-I didn't realize how good that dress would fit your body." He stuttered.
"Aw. Am I making someone nervous?" I asked.
"N-No." He blushed again.
I laughed as he took my hand.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." He said.
Twenty minutes later, it felt like we were trespassing onto private property.
"Are you sure we're supposed to be here?" I asked.
"Yeah. I know the guy who guards the beach. It's private but he let me do this." He said.
There was a small table with a candle and two plates.
"Luke, I'm speechless." I said looking at the little setup.
"I just wanted to do something nice since it's our last night here." He said.
"Oh yeah." I said disappointed.
"If you're worried about seeing them or flying, don't be. Remember, it's you and I against the world." He said.
I couldn't help but smile at that.
He always knew just what to say.
We watched the sun set as we ate dinner.
"I just wanted to say how much I love you. I know I say it quite often, but you're the only man that's ever treated me like this. I always thought I was incapable of being loved, but you proved me wrong." I said as he held my hand.
"I love you so much more, Ryder. Thank you for showing me what it's like to love." He said kissing my hand.
I posted a picture of us when we got back to the room.
He was carrying me bridal style while holding my heels.
