A few days later, August had gone shopping and had asked Alek to go pick up Pandora. At Pandora's mom's house, he softly knocked on the door and a man taller than him opened it a few minutes later. He stared down at Alek with narrowed eyes and asked in a gruff voice,"Why are you here?" "I'm here for Pandora," Alek replied in a shaky voice. The man nodded and turned to call for the brown haired girl who soon ran down the stairs with her bag. She stopped in her tracks when she saw that Alek had come to get her. Once in the car that Alek was borrowing from August, Pandora asked,"Why did you come get me?" Alek replied in a soft voice,"Auggie's shopping for groceries." Pandora cracked a smile when she heard Alek's nickname for her father.

At their house, Pandora saw August putting the groceries away and Alek went to go help him. He took some of the stuff that went on the higher shelves and put them away for August. Alek had figured out that he did have a slight crush on August. No, it wasn't just a crush, he was in love with the ginger haired man. Pandora could just see the chemistry between them.

Later that evening, the three of them were walking together in the park and Pandora was jumping and spinning around, August said to her,"Your book is going to be taken away if you run into us or someone else." Alek chuckled and said to August,"You shouldn't threaten to take her books, Auggie~." August blushed at the nickname and Pandora laughed and "accidentally" ran into August. That rough shove had pushed him into Alek's chest and knocked the two of them to the ground. August's head rested on Alek's chest as they laid on the ground. They quickly scrambled away from each other with blushes clearly on their cheeks. A few girls saw what had happened and were giggling amongst themselves. The three finished up their walk and headed back to the house where Pandora got her favorite books taken away. When Pandora was put to bed, August and Alek went to tell her goodnight. She smiled at the thought of them getting together. After telling her goodnight, they went to go sit on the couch. They were sitting close to each other; so close that their knees were touching. Neither one seemed to mind until Pandora came to ruin the moment by standing next to the couch and saying,"OMG, your knees are touching!" The pair looked at each other and shrugged before sending the girl back to her room.

In the morning, the two woke up leaning against each other. The had woken up because they heard Pandora take a picture of them on her camera. She giggled before skipping back to her room; they looked at each other with loving eyes, both oblivious to the fact that the other had feelings for them. August stood up and headed to the kitchen while Alek watched him from the couch. A few minutes later, Alek got up to go see if he could help his crush with breakfast. August saw him and asked with smile,"Could you get a bowl down from that cabinet, please?" The blue eyed man nodded and waited a second to see if August would move; he didn't, so Alek came up behind him and leaned into him a bit to reach into the open cabinet. He felt August lean into his body and he quickly pulled away and handed him the bowl as a blush lightly dusted both of their cheeks. August said with a completely red face,"I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have leaned into you like that!" Alek looked away and softly replied,"It's fine," he looked back at his Auggie with a smirk and continued,"It would be more convenient if you did that in bed or when we slept together on the couch last night." August blushed and looked away from Alek and started to mix the ingredients for the pancakes.

Later that Saturday, Pandora was alone with August. They were sitting next to each other on the couch and Pandora looked up at her dad and said,"Ya know, I think Alek likes you." Auggie smiled a little and replied,"I sure hope so, or tonight will be awkward."
