"Gene! Gene!" You smile bounce up and down.
"Hi Y/N!" He grins and runs over to you.
"Guess what!" You say excitedly.
"What?!"
"Mama got me a new game! Wanna come to my house and play it?" You say,Your F/C tail wagging.
"I gotta ask my mommy first,But if she says I can,Then yeah!" He grins and runs back into his house,Leaving you in his front yard of his house.
"Hey Flea!" You hear.
You turn around to see Ivy and Alex.
They called you that ever since you met them.
"Hi guys! Guess what!" You bounce over to them and smile.
"What?" They both smirk.
"I got a new game! Gene is coming over to play it with me! You wanna come too?" You say.
"Play a game? Please,We're too old for stupid games!" They both giggle.
You were 8,And they were 9,and Gene was 9.
You had met them when your mother and theirs got together and...Well kinda forced you guys to play together.
"But you would really like it!" You say.
"Why don't you just shut up? Oh! Is that your dolly?" They smirk and take your favorite stuffed animal.
"Hey!" Tears spring to your eyes almost instantly.
Your F/R(Favorite relative)had given you that before they died,And you loved it.
"Pfft! Do you sleep with it? I bet you do!" Ivy giggles and tosses it to Alex when you go to dive for it.
"Monkey in the middle!" Alex yells as you run to her.
"Looks like Flea isn't fast enough!" Ivy giggles again as they continue tossing it back and forth.
"Hey!" You hear.
You look back to Gene's yard and see him standing there,Looking very mad.
"Leave her alone!" He yells and pushes Alex out of the way,Grabbing your animal and giving it to you.
"T-Thanks." You hug your stuffed animal.
"Pfft,Looks like Flea has a crushhhhh!"  Alex smirks.
"HEY!" You see Gene's mom come out with a apron on.
"You girls leave them alone!" She says,Her eyebrows furrowed.
"B-But we weren't doing anything!" Ivy sticks her bottom lip out and sniffs.
"Yeah...we were just t-talking!" Alex says,Tears filling her eyes already.
"Oh really? Because I saw all of it from the kitchen window!" She says.
"W-We were just p-playing!" Ivy says,Tears streaming down her face.
"Y/N,Did you give them your animal or did they take it?" She squats and puts her hand on my shoulder.
"T-They took it.." You say,Sniffing.
"Liar!" Ivy yells.
"Ivy! Do you want me to call your parents?" Gene's mom snaps.
"N-No..."
"Then I suggest you and Alex get going.Now." She says,Standing back up.
"Y-Yes ma'am!" They both scurry off.
"You okay sweetie?" Gene's mom looks to me.
You nod and hug my stuffed animal tighter.
"Okay,How about I give you both some cookies so you can eat them while you both play at your house?" She asks.
You nod again.
"F/F please!" You say.
"Okay,Kids stay out here and I'll walk you both to Y/N's house,I'll be back!" She smiles and goes back into the house.
"Hey Y/N?" Gene asks.
"Yeah?"
"I'll protect you." Gene smiles shyly and grabs a hold of your hand.
"You don't have to." You say,Tilting your head.
"But I will! I promise! Wait wait,I pinky promise!" He grins and holds his pinky out.
"Okay." You grin back and hold your pinky out.
"Oh here!" He hands you a F/C heart necklace.
"It's a mood necklace! I got a ring for me,So we can match!" He holds his other hand out and shows me his puppy shaped moon ring.
"Thanks!"
"Oh! And you have to do something for me!" He says.
"What?"
"Don't leave me,Okay?"
"Okay."

Oh also a while ago I was reading through this and saw on one chapter I kinda switched from 3rd POV to 1st so if you find any mistakes please tell me!
I'm used to writing in 1st POV but I wanted to change it up a bit and use 3rd.
