I didn't believe it at first.

I thought that maybe it could have been something in a food I ate; maybe I ate a dish with sakura in it since it was spring.

But then it hit me.

Garroth truly loved Kim. Garroth would date her for years. Garroth would propose to her at a beautiful garden and she would say yes. And they would get married and have a big wonderful wedding. And would have kids and they would love them deeply. And I would just be standing to the side and smiling. I would let him be happy.

Of course I really wanted to be selfish and date him. Make him fall in love with me. Have him propose to me in a beautiful garden. Have my own big beautiful wedding. Have adorable children that were combinations of us or little mini me's. Have a nice house that we lived in. Have Kim standing to the side and smiling.

But I wasn't.

I would never interfere with Garroth's happiness. If he loved her, so be it. Hell, I would be Kim's maid of honor or bridesmaid if she asked. I would babysit their kids that would have Kim's beautiful hair and Garroth's stunning eyes. I would do anything for Garroth, even if it meant sacrificing my own happiness.

"We're so glad you're happy for us! Thank you!" Kim smiles.

"Yeah, we'll even name one of our kids after you!" Garroth winks.

"Thank you so much, Y/N, I would have never actually asked him if it wasn't for you..." Kim hugs me, engulfing me in a wonderful smell of cinnamon.

"No problem! I hope you guys live a wonderful life together!" I say, even though thorns scratch my throat and make me want to scream.

They slowly walk away, and I collapse to the floor, with blood dripping from my mouth and thorns and flowers covered in blood slowly coming out of it.

I feel blossoms growing out of my skin and the thorns and branches wrapping around my throat, slowly choking me. It hurt. A lot.

I try to scream for help but nothing comes out. I try to rip the thorns and branches off but they pierce my hands. I cough up more petals that are covered in blood, But you can still see the beautiful color and detail. The petals fall in my lap and they shrivel up.

I guess time is up for me.

✿Garroth✿

"Nurse! How is she?!" Garroth burst through the hospital doors with Kim following.

"Sir she's in critical condition... she might not survive..."

Your mom had came home and saw you on the floor, surrounded by blood and cherry blossoms. It would have been quite beautiful if it wasn't for the circumstances.

"It's all my fault...I asked her and she said yes...I shouldn't have..." Kim says in a shaky voice and grabbed her hair.

"Kim, nothing is your fault, don't blame yourself." Garroth says.

"It is! She clearly liked you and I was selfish and went after you! It's my fault she's in a damn hospital! It's my fault she could die! It should be me in there not her!" Kim screams and tears run down her face.

"Ma'am, you're causing a scene...Please quiet down." A nurse comes over and rubs her back.

"Sorry..." Kim nods and runs off to the bathroom, muffling her sobs.

"Will Y/N be alright? Isn't there a surgery to remove the hanahaki?" Garroth asks.

"There is, but we need consent from her mother..."

"Then get it! I'll pay for it!"

"Y/! Are you okay? How do you feel?" Your mother jumped up from her seat when she had saw you had awoken.

"I'm fine..." Your voice was dry and raspy and it hurt to talk.

"Here have some water." She gives you a glass of water and you gulp it down, feeling a lot better after.

"Ah...What happened?" You touch the bandages on your neck and chest, wincing slightly.

"You got hanahaki somehow and it got really bad...You almost died..."

"What? Who did I get hanahaki from?"

"Uh...It was Garroth..."

"Who's Garroth?"
