Chapter Four

I shot up as fast as I could. I was laying down on the sidewalk outside the school, a few feet from the force field thing. Martha was starring at me quizzically.

       "Are you okay?" She asked.

"Ya," I said. I was a little confused. "Why?" I inquired.

"Well, we were walking out of the school," Martha started. "Then you just suddenly passed out. You woke up five minutes later."

"That is so weird." I needed time to process that too.

Martha started to walk away. She got about five feet before she stopped. Then, she collapsed.

"Martha!" I ran towards her. Luckily, she was still breathing. Not to be mean, but I really didn't want to give her CPR. She wasn't ugly, She just creeped me out a little. This girl was the one stalking me. My grandma posted a picture of her and me on facebook, so I went to her page to like it. As I was looking at who liked it, I saw Martha's name. I wasn't confused at first, but a couple days later, I was looking through her friends, and I didn't see my grandma in them. I didn't get creeped out very much by that. She was probably just surfing around and saw me so she liked it. I started getting creeped out when she kept showing up behind me wherever I went. Once, the one-minute warning bell rang. I turned around to see her standing there. I asked what her next class was. She told me it was art. That class was clear across the school!

I told her bye, and I walked to my class. I got to math, and turned around to yell to my friend, who was getting a drink, to hurry his butt up, but instead I found Martha standing very, VERY close to me. I only balked up a step, and she followed me, only a few inches away.

"Uhmm, hi?" I spoke. I was really getting creeped out.

"Hi, what are you doing?" She asked.

I was about to speak when the tardy bell rang. Martha just stood there like it hadn't rang. "The bell just rang, so..." I told her, walking into my class.

       "I know." She said matter-of-factly.

"Well, bye," I said. I went into my class. As I sat down, I looked back towards the door. She was still standing there. Then she scarred me for life. She did the "I love you" thing in sign language, and the class jerks saw it too. The whole period, they kept teasing me about Martha. I told them to buzz off, and I learned a very new word that day.

It only got worse from there. When the bell rang, I walked out very quickly, debating whether I could chance going to my locker. I decided I would rather carry my heavy math book all day than meet up with her. I also decided to take a very different route to my next class. It was only down the hall, but I decided to walk around the school and come from the opposite direction.

I was so glad I did, because as I neared the door, I saw Martha, standing in the middle of the hall, facing away from me. Whenever someone passed her, she asked them, "Have you seen Tony?". I quietly made it into science class.

I snapped back to reality as I heard Martha stir. I backed away as far as I could. I didn't want her to think I was sitting by her the whole time. If she found me there, she would most likely go around the school saying that her "boyfriend" had sat with her the whole time she was asleep. The last time I helped her, she went blabbing it around, but she had made it sound more lovey-dovey than it had been. The news spread quickly. My mom somehow found out, and gave me a good scolding about how I was only a freshman, and how I can't date till I'm 16. It took a while to explain that I had only grabbed her paper off the ground because It was a science project that my teacher had made us work together on.

"Hey Tony Stark," Martha said in a voice she probably thought was sexy, but I thought it sounded like she was trying to impersonate a very sick mule.  Also, she thinks it's hot to call me Tony Stark, the guy who is Iron Man in the movies. I hate it. I don't even like Iron Man, I like Captain America. But, back to the point.

"Stop calling me that!" I told her. I was starting to regret grabbing her hand earlier. I should have just left.

"Whatever you say, Edward." She said in that stupid voice again. Did I mention that she also likes Twilight?

"My name is Tony," I said through gritted teeth. "Tony Collins." I hate how she likes me, and she is obsessive. Of me. I found her iPhone on the ground once. I was trying to figure out who had lost it by looking through the pictures, when I saw like fifty of me. The were pictures of me in all my classes, at lunch, and in front of my house. The last one creeped me out. I asked my dad what to do. He didn't say anything. He just got up, grabbed the phone, and called the police. They talked to her and she left me alone. For about three days. Then one day she showed up at my doorstep. I opened the door, and she just walked in, grabbed my arm, and dragged me to my room. I didn't even want to know how she knew where it was. She pulled me in, closed the door, and started to kiss me. On the lips! I pulled away, and she attacked me. She tackled me to the ground, and started kissing me again. It took all my strength to push her off. She wasn't exactly a lightweight girl.

Marta's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Well, don't just stand there, help me up!" She sounded a little pissed.

"Fine, hold on." She stuck out her hand, but I just went around and grabbed her by the shoulders and hoisted her up. She spun around and hugged me. And she kissed my cheek.

"Get away from me!" I yelled and pushed her away.

"Oh, stop it honey," She started playing with her hair and smiling creepily. "I might stop dating you if you keep this up." She teased.

"For the last time!" I yelled as hard as I could. "We are not going out!"

"Whatever you say," She replied. She started to walk past me into the school, then she pinched me on the butt. Now I felt violated. I ran into the school, up the stairs, and towards one of the science classrooms. I ran inside and closed the door behind me. I heard a voice.

"Tony?" I recognized that voice! It was Shawn! I whirled around to see him standing there with Samantha and Aaron.

"Guys!" I yelled. They all came running for me. I ran towards them. We all grabbed each other in to a big bear hug.

"Why have you guys been hiding?" I inquired.

"We haven't been hiding," Aaron answered me. "We have been stuck here for weeks!"

       "How?" I asked.

"You probably won't like this," Samantha spoke up. "But Martha did this. It was all part of her plot."

       "What plot?" I asked.

"Um," Shawn said. "She found a way to control people, but she needs to sacrifice three people in order to do it."

I was puzzled. How could she do this?! And why was I here if she only need three people? Samantha could probably tell what I was thinking, because she answered my question for me.

"She pulled you here," She started to say. "So she could control you. She wants to make you think you are in love with her."

"What?!" I exclaimed. "I am so going to-" I was cut off by a voice behind me.

"Kiss me?" I turned around to see Martha standing there. She was holding a knife in one hand and a key in the other. She turned around and locked the door. "Now," She said. "Who wants sacrificed first?"
