Chapter Six
"Um," I replied. "I really don't know." I forgot that we were stuck here in this invisible-world-thing.
"Well, we could ask Martha." Aaron offered. "I'm sure she knows how to get out."
"And you think that she would actually tell us how?!" Samantha snapped. Her face immediately softened. "I'm sorry," She appologized. "I just don't think we are going to be able to get home."
I was thinking the same thing. There had to be a way. Then I remembered falling asleep when we tried to leave the school property. That had to be an important factor in getting home, didn't it? I decided we should investigate there.

We all headed down the the school exit. Samantha, Aaron and Shawn had no idea about the force field or the whole falling asleep thing. Shawn thought i was joking, so he started walking towards the force field. As he hit the place where both me and Martha fell asleep, something happened. He walked right through. He turned around and started to yell.
"Ha!" He laughed. "I knew you were... Hey?" He had a look of confusion on his face. "Where did you guys go?"
"What are you talking about?" I asked. "We are standing right in front of you!"
He turned and looked around. "I'm not joking where did you go?" He had an annoyed look now. "This really isn't funny!"
"Gosh, he is a dimwit sometimes!" Aaron muttered. He started walking towards Shawn. He also made it through . Right as he crossed over the froce field line thingy, Shawn let out a yelp.
"Where did you come from?!" Shawn's face was a deathly pale.
But Aaron paid him no attention. He turned around. "Hey!" He yelled. "I think this is the way out! I can't see you guys anymore!"
Samantha rushed over to them. Shawn let out another yelp.
"He's right!" Samantha exclaimed. "I can't see you Tony! This is the way out!"
I was exstatic. Finally, I could go home! I ran toward them all, but I was stopped by the force field. "Crap," I thought. "I couldn't get through!"
"Tony?" Shawn said. "Are you coming?" They all started walking toward me, but they were stopped by the forcefield thing too!
"Oh," Samantha said, surprised. "I don't think he can get through. I think the wall thing he was talking about turned back on. Now, he can't come over here, and we can't get back in there."
I backed up all the way to the wall of the school. There was no way I was going to let a stupid force field keep me here. I ran as hard as I could at the wall, and I made it through! But i ran smack into Shawn, but this time he gave more of a scream as we both fell on to the pavement. I was laughing as hard as i could. He was still trying to catch his breath.
"You made it!" Samantha yelled. She ran over and hugged me. I didn't think that girls could squeeze a guy this hard. But my lungs told me they could.
"Yeah, I made it." I tried to say, but I was being squeezed too tight. it just came out as a wheeze.
"Ooh," Aaron cooed. "Tony's got a girlfriend!"
I was about to tell him to shut up, but I was stopped by a voice I knew all too well.
"Ah," Martha said annoyingly. "You all made it out. At least, you think you did. But, you haven't. She gave a signal towards the roof. I saw a guy with a bow , an arrow pointed straight at me.
"I figured out how to make you fall in love with me," Martha was pacing as she spoke. "without me having to sacrifice your stupid friends. And it is all thanks to cupid up there."
I started to laugh. "You really think that cupid is real? You're not only evil, you're also looney!" I laughed s hard, I didn't see the archer dude release the arrow. It struck me straight in the chest. I doubled over in pain.
"Look at me you fool!" martha yelled. "Look at me so you'll fall in love with me!" I heard Samantha yell "Don't do it!" I heard her run over to me and whisper "Look at me, then you won't be stuck with Martha your whole life! You'll be stuck with me!"
"Are you sure?" I asked withiut looking up.
"Why else would I be telling you to?" She sounded like she was about to cry. Martha must have heard her. "Nooooo!" She screamed. I looked up into Samantha's face, and, I felt nothing happen. It was like the arrow wasn't real. The arrow! I looked at my chest just in time to see it melt away. I heard martha yell again. "Nooooooooooo! I will get you for this Sam!" "It's Samantha you diva!" Samantha yelled back.
I started to feel the whole world spin. I closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
