Chapter 13: Help

Never had Courtney ran so much in her life. But it was absolutely necessary. If they wanted to get to the capital before Heather, they couldn't waste a second. Bridgette and Geoff rode on Trent's horse, Gwen teleported forward with Trent, while Duncan and Courtney sprinted. As fast as they were going, there was no way they would be able to get there in 1 night. But they tried. "Why are you running?" They all stopped when they heard a soft, gentle, yet loud voice speak to them. "Who are you?" Asked Gwen. "My name is Dawn. I am an enchantress as well, but a different kind." Said a girl, sitting in a tree. She had long platinum blonde hair, and white skin. "Can you help us?" Asked Geoff.  "I have to ask Scott first." Who the heck is Scott?" Asked Trent. "One second please. SCOTT!" screamed Dawn. A red haired boy fell out of the tree. "Shut your trap! What do you want?" Asked Scott in a annoyed tone. "Hi, we could use your help." Said Bridgette. " And why should we help you?" Asked Scott. After bieng beaten, locked in a cage, and having to run for an hour, Courtney was not in the mood to be polite. "Do you know who your talking to?! Lemme introduce myself! I'm Courtney, soon to be queen of YOUR kingdom! And I demand that you help us, if not try to be polite!" Once she was finished he stood up and bowed. "My apologies, your highness. We have some animal friends that could give you a lift, malady." She smiled. "That's more like it. That would be lovely." He then kissed her hand. "Boy do I love a bossy woman." Duncan was at his throat within seconds. "She's taken. Now go get those rides." Scott scrambled away, hiding behind the tree. Dawn whistled, and two more horse came out from the woods. "Corona thanks you." Said Gwen. "Your very welcome. Now go, Heather will be there soon." Said Dawn. "How did you know-" "Don't question it Trent." Said Dawn, shooing them away. At a much faster pace, they set off for the capital.
