They arrived at Heather's castle. Made of dark stone, with tall towers, it was terrifying. But not to Duncan. He completely ignored everything and walked right into the castle, before bieng yanked back by Geoff. "What do think your doing?!" He whisper shouted. "Saving Princess." He said as if it was obvious, getting out of Geoff's grip and continuing. His friends ran after him, thinking he was crazy. "We're splitting up. Search the castle." He said. Seeing that it wasn't a bad plan, they listened. Gwen found nothing but proof that Alejandro spent to much money on unnecessary things. Geoff found the kitchen, and was almost distracted, but moved on. Duncan didn't give a shit what he found, all he knew was that it wasn't Courtney. Bridgette wandered the carpeted halls, and gently pushed open a door. It was a little girls room, with a pink bed and toys. But it was all dusty, like nobody had lived there in years. In the back of the room, was a pile of withered flowers and burnt out candles. Above it was a picture of a little girl. She had short raven hair, with tan skin and bright green eyes. Bridgette brushed it off, and found her name. Rosa. There was other pictures on the walls, drawn mesily in crayon. If there wasn't labels she wouldn't be able to tell what it was. It was a family. Mommy, Papa, Ethan, me. The Mommy wore a crown identical to Heather's. Strange, she thought. Then it hit her. This was Heather and Alejandro's daughter. And she was dead. She had to find the others. Courtney had been thrown in a cell, once they had beat her thoroughly. She sat against the wall, fighting to stay awake. She knew that she was in the dungeon, but couldn't figure how to get out. She heard footsteps and sat straighter. But it wasn't Heather. Or Alejandro. It was a little boy. About 3. "Hi. I'm Ethan." He said, with a Mexican accent. She smiled slightly, he was the only nice person she had met in the castle. "Hi Ethan. I'm Courtney." He giggled. "I know, Mommy has been talking about you for a while. She doesn't like you." Chatty little thing. "Who's your mother?" He smiled proudly. "Heather." Courtney was shocked. She knew that she was dating Alejandro, but never knew they had a child. "Listen, I'm going to let you go, but you can't tell mommy or papa. They'll be mad at me." Such a sweet boy, with such horrible parents. "Thank-" "Ethan! What are you doing down here, honey? I thought I told you to stay out of the dungeon." Heather said gently. " I'm sorry mommy. I just wanted somebody to play with." She smiled sadly. "Go upstairs and get out your toys. I'll be in there in a minute." His face lit up. "Yes mommy. Bye Courtney!" Heather watched with a loving gaze as her pride and joy raced up the stairs, but as soon as he was out of eye range, the smile faded. "What were you doing to him?!" She roared with a wrath that only a mother could have. "I-I wasn't doing anything! He came to me!" Courtney stuttered, staring at the furious woman. "I can't lose him! I... just... can't." She fell on the floor, shaking and crying. Courtney wasn't sure what to do, but she felt almost bad for her. She noticed the keys on Heather's belt, and a lightbulb went off. She crawled over to the bars, and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. With the other, she slowly grabbed the keys. "There, there." She said, trying her best to be comforting. Heather stood up, smiled slightly, and left. Courtney wasted no time in unlocking the cell. Once she was free, she climbed the stairs, and cautiously peered down the hall. Empty. She ran past countless doors, searching for a way out.
