Dee - shorty what are you asking me ?

Me - I need a job .
I sat in his car with Kacey laying on my chest

Dee - you got McDonald's he snickered but my face held no playful expression .

Me - Dee I'm not laughing . That shit barely paid my rent .

Dee - I don't know what to tell you .

I just nodded , he was no fucking help .

Me - your no help my voice cracked a little but I hid it . Rained poured down on the car windows as I rocked Kacey .

I was missing my fat man . I barely got to see him and spiracy with me working as many hours as I could .

I kinda gave up on school , I just worked as much as I could .

Dee just typed away at his phone .

I got out the car and ran to the house so I wouldn't get me or Kacey wet .

I got us ready for bed and went to sleep .

I woke up to knocking on my door .
I opened it and seen Dee .

Dee - I got a job for you shorty , come on .

Me - where ?

Dee - babysitting , come on .

Me - I have to get dressed .

Dee - you got 15 minutes ugly

I quickly got myself ready and we headed out the door . I dropped Kacey off to grannies and sat in silence as he drove me somewhere .

we pulled up at a little house and he told me to follow him .

He opened the door with his keys and we stepped inside a basic ass house .

A light skin man came into view with a baby and my heart started pounding .

In front of me was Dave East .

I've never seen him in person before but I knew he lived out here .

All I know is he make music and is a big time drug dealer .

I was so confused , Dee knows him .

He looked in my direction and stared into my eyes . I got a really familiar feeling that I couldn't pin point .

When he opened his mouth to talk I lost all the breathe in my body and wanted to go home .

Dave - what she's doing here ?

Dee - she's the babysitter you need he simple stated and Dave stated at me some more as if he didn't trust me .

Dave made a head movement and Dee walked out the room .

Dave - you know who I am ?

I nodded I could never forget his voice

Me - yes sir . I could never forget your voice

Dave - that's good he chuckled so you know I'll kill you like I did that man over my fucking daughter his voice boomed .

He scared me

Dave - I make myself clear ?

Me - yes sir

He walked out the room and came back with a precious baby girl .

Dave - this Kairi

Me - hey pretty girl I said shyly and she giggled at me

Dave phone started ringing loudly and he snatched it out his pocket .

He talked calmly but urgently into the phone and I felt something was wrong .

Dave - Dee we gotta go he told him setting Kairi in my arms .

Dee walked out the house and Dave stayed behind .

Dave - this house has cameras everywhere he informed me don't do anything fucking stupid little girl .

I nodded and watched as his tall frame walked off .

He scared me .

When the door shut I turned to the pretty girl in my arms that giggled at me .
