Everything felt so unreal to me as I sat in the back of a van with Dave .
I said nothing , as thoughts crowded my mind .
He had my hand in his rubbing it back and fourth with his thumb .
Danna - Kharisma who are they ? She mumbled
Me - I know them , we're safe now ok ? She nodded as I used my free hands to wipe her face .
Danna cried herself to sleep .
The car came to a stop and the door opened , revealing Dee
Dee - ayyy he boasted see how we killed them niggas ?
Me - hey Dee I laughed as he helped me out
Me - let her sleep please
I knew Danna was scared .
We walked into a house and I watched carefully as Dee sat her down .
Danna my whole baby , it was just me and her in hell together .
Dee left and I turned to Dave
Me - uhm can I see my baby ? I asked lowly fidgeting with my clothes I was so nervous
He nodded , pulling me into a big ass hug .
Dave - I swear I never stopped looking for you mama
It made me feel guilty for being mad at him .
That was when I thought he wasn't making any effort to find me .
Me - I know Dave I said as he squeezed me tighter
Dave - do you want me to go get him now or wait till the morning ? I'm sure he's asleep
I agreed on waiting until the morning and he pulled me up the steps
Dave - she's fine Kharisma he assured me when I kept looking back at Danna
Me - okay I said following him
He led me to a room that only had a bed and a door which led to a bathroom
Me - I have to use it I dismissed myself and went to the bathroom .
After taking care of my business I looked at my makeup that was just a mess
I took a towel from under the cabinet and wiped it off my face with hot water .
I just stared at my complexion before leaving the bathroom .
Under my eyes were dark as fuck and I was skinny .
Dave was sitting on the bed with his head on his hands
I watched as his shoulders moved up and down as he silently cried
It made me so sad
Me - Dave stop crying
Dave - Kharisma I'm so sorry
