THE SUN WAS kissing the skins of the people in the streets of London though the air was cold. the sound of manic christmas chatter filled their ears as people of different nationalities walked the streets.

Natalia walked with a smile lingering on her plump red lips as she watched the odd tourist get their photo taken outside an overrated building. she once saw two girls struggling to take a photo together and offered to take it for them. what really made her laugh was that same evening when Tim sent her a screenshot and the translation of the photo one of the French girls had posted on twitter, they said how they couldn't believe that thee natalia brooks had taken a photo of them that afternoon.

currently, she was walking home from the office space she had just brought to grow her company and couldn't be happier. the sounds of Christmas music coming from the different pubs and buskers on the street was causing her to walk with a little skip. Natalia Brooks was happy.

she was happy with herself, her work, her life. she knew that there were things she needed to work on and get together, but in the mean time: she was happy.

"Where bouts are you?"

she held her phone up against her ear, "i'm like five minutes away from home. why?"

"sweet. so am i, what food do you want?"

she tried to bite back a smile at the voice on the other side of the phone, the cheek of him.

"i could really go for some Sushi and Teriyaki Chicken, pleaseeee." she said dramatically.

he giggled on the other end, "i'll see you in a few."

they said a mumbled goodbye before hanging up the phone.

this was a common thing. Timothée was filming in a secret location in london and she knew he got homesick week two into filming which was probably nearly two months into being in london.

throughout the summer, she found herself answering late night calls or texts of him just asking for a quick chat or if he could see her. she felt like home to him so he kind of clung onto that feeling desperately.

he basically became her forth roommate, he started falling asleep on the sofa for a few weeks then Rosa and Pen would let him in when he knocked and Natalia wasn't even there. he would make himself comfortable at the foot of her bed like a little baby puppy and she would just see him all curled up, his now shortened hair floppy over his forehead.

they hadn't really spoken about what was going on currently, they never really had the time because usually he was just sleeping or it was all too nice in that moment to be ruined. however, she knew that she had to say something just to clear a few things up. she didn't really know where she stood with timothée at this very moment, or what the relationship between them was.

tonight, she didn't care how tired he was, she needed to stop being afraid of her feelings and just speak to him. christmas was right around the corner and she wasn't sure what was going to happen, whether he would be in London all Christmas or New York. she was so invested in her work that she didn't really notice how quickly christmas had came along, she didn't even have an advent calendar.

things between the pair were weird. it was like a relationship without the kissing, sex etc. she couldn't really say it was like a really close friendship because, it most definitely wasn't. just the way they acted around each other just felt like they were romantically involved.

natalia wasn't sure if she really believed in soul mates, but it was something that crossed her mind continuously when it came to Timothée.

"i can't believe they just let you in my house like that," Natalia scoffed as she walked through her door and caught sight of timothée almost straight away.

his head perked up as he heard her voice and he smiled soppily, "hi."

she couldn't help but giggle. he looked very tired, his hair was all over the place and he had his 'cosy clothes' on. Natalia couldn't help but bite her lip at his effortlessly precious appearance. this talk was going to be harder than she thought.
