-The flea and the acrobat part I-
The Demogorgon made a sound somewhere between a howl, roar, screech, growl, caw of a bird, and something else Pine could not describe. It sounded like a group of velociraptors. Then, it made an almost whistle like sound, screeching, and the sound one makes while vomiting. There was even a hint of an upset Snoopy in there but, this was no child's cartoon character. A static followed as the lights started to flicker. It loomed over Pine, she froze, the kind of froze one can only become when they're absolutely terrified. That's what Pine was, absolutely terrified. The young girl stared into the faceless head of the monster. Mouth lined with rows and rows of countless sharp teeth. Teeth like daggers, meant to rip into the flesh of its prey. Its skin was grey and slimy with decay. Pine could smell its last dinner. It smelled like death. It was death. Without second thought, Pine ran. She ran as fast as she could into the world beyond the wall. She didn't stop to examine the new place she was in but continued running. She didn't dare look back for fear it would slow her down. Screeches from the monster could be heard throughout everywhere.

When she was absolutely sure it was gone, Pine stopped and took shelter behind a tree. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. A feeling of relief flooded through her. She started to look around. Due all of her previous running, she hadn't payed attention to where she was.
The Demogorgon leapt out from behind the tree and pounced on top of Pine! She couldn't breathe but, still seemed to manage a blood curdling scream. A scream similar to that of Lilac Knight's on the night of her murder. I'm going to die here. Pine thought as the monsters faced opened up, sharp teeth only inches from her face.
"LET HER GO!" Someone yelled.
That was the last thing she heard until the darkness consumed her.
(Another tiny chapter, I'm sorry. But, I didn't feel like there was any more to write here.)
