Pine's eyes fluttered open, darkness meeting her. She turned her head and saw Will walking up beside her. Where were they?
"Are you guys ok?" Someone asked
Pine and Will looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. It was a teenage girl with short red hair. Not just any teenage girl though. She was the girl Pine had drawn by the pool and even seen being dragged in.
"I've seen you before." Pine said before she knew the words were coming out of her mouth.
"My name is Barbra Holland. Barb for short. I've seen you hanging out with Thorn. He's a friend of mine. Him and Nancy."
"Yeah, Thorn's pretty cool." Pine replied
"Where are we?" Will piped up
"Still in the woods but, a bit further away. You guys were super light but, it was difficult to carry the two of you." Barb replied
"Thank you." Will and Pine said in unison
"No problem. You guys are just kids and," she looked to Will "your mother is worried sick."
Will blushed. They heard The demogorgon make a sound somewhere between a howl, roar, screech, growl, caw of a bird, and something else Pine could not describe. It sounded like a group of velociraptors. Then, it made an almost whistle like sound, screeching, and the sound one makes while vomiting.
"You two go somewhere safe. I'll hold it off." Barb told the two kids.
"But, you'll die." Pine said
"And you wont. Now go!"
Will and Pine looked over at each other hesitantly.
"GO!" Barb screamed as the demogorgan made itself seen.
