“Luke, why are we here?” I questioned. We were currently inside of a local Walmart, walking down the aisles and through clothing material. This is what we are doing instead of attending school. I wonder how my parents would react. I wonder how Tyler would react.

“You," He snapped his fingers as we made our way to the Junior's aisle. “You, my dear companion, are going to get a swimsuit.” A smirked was painted on his face.

“But I already have one!" I groaned. I rested my body against a rack of clothing. This was where a teenage moment was required, where we groan and get aggravated.

“Yes, but you didn't bring it now did you?”

“Because you wouldn't tell me anything!" I pouted, closing my eyes tiredly.

“Just pick one, I am paying anyways. Then after we're done doing my activity, we can do whatever your tiny heart pleases," Luke walked off to what I expected the Men's section.

I sighed heavily, giving into him. I searched for a suit that I like — moreover one that actually fitted me. After going through a rack that held tops that wouldn't fit me because they required Double D's, I finally found one that sufficed my needs.

“That's a cute one," A voice whispered in my ear. I froze, a tad stunned. I knew it was Luke but having him so close to me made me nervous.

“Y-yeah. Did you, um, get one?" I asked to take the edge off. Luke lifted up black swim trunks with linings of red designs. It suited him fairly. I nodded my head in approval and he grabbed my hand and headed to the cashiers. In his other hand were the shorts and a couple of towels.

Luke and I drove up through a small set of woods with a clear dirt road up to a small circle clearing. It seemed oddly familiar but I couldn't place a finger on it. Luke turned off the engine and hopped out of the car and walked until he stood in front of it. He turned back to the car, staring through the windshield, waiting for me. I got out cautiously. Is he going to kill me?

“Don't worry; I won't murder you." Did I say that out loud? Luke just nodded his head and reached his hand out, beckoning for my hand to accompany it.

That was when we went farther through the woods, no longer in the clearing. When we reached a cliff that's when it clicked.

“This is where all the cool kids come to party," I explained to Luke who stood beside me taking off his shirt. Oh, God. He wasn't at all skinny and flat, but not muscular. Instead, you could tell he worked out, like athletes like him do. He had a lining of a six pack, the sun shining onto it like it was the Holy Grail.

“You can stop staring whenever you want," Luke bursted out in laughter. There I go blushing madly... again. “Anyways, I don't care much if cool kids come here to party. Today, at," he looked at his phone, “Nine thirty, we are the only popular kids. We will party ourselves. You can go change behind that tree or right here." My face must've turned red, I could feel the heat working its way up and covering my face.

“I won't look... promise.” Luke held out his pinkie to swear he wouldn't. Outside I must've seemed calm and collected, but inside I was melting like a popsicle in the middle of summer. I locked pinkies with him and he smiled gleefully.

“Turn around," I whispered, pouting. He just shook his head and smiled like an idiot. A perfect idiot, nonetheless...
