The Next Day

I woke up that morning and my head was pounding. I didn't want to go to school and I certainly did not want to see Finn after what happened yesterday. But I had to so I got up and put on a pair of sweats, and left the house for school. In the car I had butterflies in my stomach I was so scared to see Finn there was no way I could see him after what had happened. As I was thinking my dad interrupted my thoughts "Honey we are here I love you bye" I smiled at him and told him I loved him too and left to go to hell.

I walked into school and walked to my locker trying to avoid anyone. When I got there freaking finn was waiting at my locker I couldn't deal with this right now I just couldn't. As I was about to walk away Noah came up behind me and hugged me. I hugged him back confused but I was glad cause I knew Finn would walk away if he saw Noah with me they had some tension over "what happened" with Maddie. When we got to my locker Finn stuttered "Um h-hi Millie and Noah I got to go" Noah gave me a questioning look confused at what just happened but I just rolled my eyes. "Lets just get to class" he winked at me.

When I got to class I went into my seat and was ready to take a nap. But then someone tapped me on the back it was the kid Jacob that sat behind me. "Are you okay?" He asked me, I didn't know why he was asking but I just smiled and said "okay" then he made a stupid joke, and asked me for my number. I just smiled and wrote it on a piece of paper. Then I turned back around and Finn had angry eyes he looked so disgusted and sad. And then the bell rung.

At my locker Finn came to see me he asked me when he should come over for our project I told him he can come at 4 he just rolled his eyes and said okay. Then he walked away without looking back I couldn't tell if he was mad or giving me pity about what happened yesterday. But either or I didn't like it..

When I came home I took a nap on my coach and then I got woken up by a knock on the door. I looked at the time and it was around 4 so I knew it was Finn I opened the door and he still looked so mad at me I gave him a sleepy smile and told him to come in.

He sat down and looked at me literally just looked at me I was so confused. "What's wrong" I asked "Nothing you just look beautiful" (hehe you see what I did there) I couldn't imagine how red I turned I felt it I mumbled "Thank you" and giggled. And then my phone started ringing "Hello? Who is this" I asked "Hey Millie it's Jacob" the person responded "Oh hey Jacob I'm actually working on the project right now can I call you later?" I asked "Oh yeah sure bye!" And then he hung up and I turned around to see Finn with the angry eyes again. "Let's just start the project" he said coldly.

While doing the project I found myself studying him every little detail every freckle, every mark. He was perfect so perfect but I had to snap out of that because I knew it was just a quick thought that meant nothing.

Finns POV

She was talking to Jacob the fucking asshole who started shit with me and Maddie. I couldn't stand the thought of him talking to her I don't know why it's not like I had feelings for her or anything. I just knew she was perfect and deserved everything. That's when I started studying her every detail, every beautiful mark. She was so perfect so so perfect...

After awhile Millie told me to go home and I did I drove away in my car and all I could think about was her.
