the first day

Millie's dad drove her to school he heard her breathing heavily since she was so nervous, that was thing about Millie she was very self conscious and nervous about people not liking her so today was very nerve wrecking for her.
"Hey, your gonna be fine Mills your gonna meet friends and your gonna learn and have fun you have nothing to worry about" Millie's dad told her in hopes to make her feel better.
"Thanks dad I appreciate it" She said as they approached the school "I love you" she kissed her dad goodbye "I love you too have a great day and don't let your paranoia get the best of you" he joked but he was serious at the same time, then she walked away and gave him a quick smile her whole body was shaking with nerves. Just when she went to open the door to her new school she bumped into someone. She looked at a short boy with a swooped hair style she quickly apologized to him
"Oh don't worry about it, hey I don't recognize you are you new?" He said with a squeaky high voice, "Yeah I am actually it's nice to meet you I'm Millie" "Hey Millie, I'm Noah I really like your hair by the way" he said noticing her short pixie cut "Not a lot of girls have the balls to cut it that short especially girls in this school" he whispered to her as he rolled his eyes, "well thank you Noah, is their anyway you can show me around cause I have literally no idea where the hell I'm supposed to go" "yeah sure that's fine" they walked into the school as Noah waved to a few people, he then turned to me and warned her about a few people, he pointed to a group of friends "that's Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink" Millie couldn't help to think to herself that the Finn kid was one of the hottest people she's ever seen "Do you not like them" she questioned "I don't dislike them but they aren't the people I hang out with I hang out with my girls most of the time, see they are all very close and don't really talk to other people outside of their group, and that Finn kid messed with my best friend, he's kinda of a player so I try not to associate with people like that." He told her, she made a confused look "your girls, and he's a player? Well he's a cute player" she joked and asked him. "Well I guess you haven't guessed this but I'm gay and a lot of people don't really like that except for my girls" He said while pointing to his group of friends as he walked up to them "hey guys this is Millie she's new" Noah said "this is grace, Maddie, and liv" (liv isn't a certain celebrity just kinda made her up) Maddie was the first to say hi they were all really excited to meet her "Hey Millie it's nice to meet you I'm actually really excited I love making new friends!"
"Hey Maddie, I love making new friends too I was so nervous but I'm glad there are really nice people like you to welcome me" Millie said with a happy smile "Oh my god your accent is amazing" they all shrieked with excitement "thank you" Millie giggled "I'm from England so that's where that comes from" "alright I love you already, what's your first class I can take you there" Grace spoke up "um let's see" Millie said as she looked at her schedule "American History with Mr.Keery" Millie said annoyed, see she liked school and learning but history was a snooze fest for her "Oh yay that's the class I'm in" Liv said to Millie "We can walk together!" She said excitedly. So with that they both walked to history. When they walked into the class Millie had to introduce herself which was embarrassing, especially since she recognized someone she called cute, Finn wolfhard. And while she was introducing herself Finn couldn't help but stare at the beautiful girl in front of him damn she is gorgeous he thought to himself. After she sat down next to Liv, then she noticed she was being watched by a certain someone, she whispered to Liv "That's Finn right?"  "Yup that's the Finn Wolfhard, I don't talk to him after what he did to Maddie" she quietly told Millie as she noticed Finn was still staring. "What did he do?" She curiously asked, and just as Liv was about to spill the tea the lesson started and shut them up.
The rest of the day she was directed to her classes by her new friends but she didn't have any classes with them or the boy she wondered about, so the rest of the school day went by in a blur. As the bell rang she gathered her stuff and walked to her dads car as he was there to pick her up. The car ride home was silent and when she got home she took her shower and did her her homework. She finally had a chance to get some sleep she read the time 12:45 she closed her eyes and drifted into sleep thinking about what the mysterious boy could have possible done to her new friend.

     Hey guys so this chapter took so long to write it's 900 something words lol, so I promise you guys finn and Millie will meet and talk in the next chapter!!:)
