Meeting Him

The next morning wasn't much to tell, Millie never gets up early she just throws on clothes and leaves the house and today was the exact same, "hey" she thought to herself "at least I woke up early yesterday". That morning she wasn't scared or nervous because she knew she had her friends to comfort and guide her, and you wouldn't believe how happy that made Millie. Millie always had a hard time fitting in she just didn't know what to believe or say around certain people and that has been a life long struggle for her. Before she knew it she pulled up to the school and her thoughts were interrupted "Hey Mills we are here" her father smiled to her. Millie and her father have always been really close, she always felt like she can relate to him, and no matter what she knew deep down she would always have him. She smiled back at him, and gave him a kiss on the cheek as she walked out of the car. 

When she went to open the door someone bumped into her, but it wasn't the short boy like yesterday, instead it was the tall curly headed boy that everyone warned her about.  She looked him up and down, she was in a trance she just looked at him and started to stutter "damn he's cute" she thought to herself "I -I um didn't mean that" she managed to say. "Hey don't worry about it your the new girl right?"he said as they entered the school walking to first period "Yeah um i'm Millie" she said shyly "Well hey Millie I'm Finn" he chuckled "I know" she said loudly almost angry, Finn looked at her up and down confused "And how is that exactly?" he said "I just made friends with Maddie and her group they warned me about you and told me you did something to her" she spilled "What I did? What about her? What about what she did to me?" he said almost furious "Hey chill they didn't even tell me what happened, what happened?" she questioned "Well I just met you and I really shouldn't be talking about it lets get to class" he smiled and opened their first period door

"You were talking to Finn?!" Liv asked Millie as she sat down at her seat she sounded very harsh. Millie looked at her very confused but said "yeah... he was just introducing himself" she lied not including the part where they talked about Maddie "Alright I guess" Liv said disgusted "Why isn't anyone telling me what happened between him and Maddie" Millie asked annoyed at the fact no one was being honest with her "Because Millie it was a hard time and Maddie hates talking about it" Liv told Millie "Well then why shouldn't I talk to Finn if I don't even know what happened" Millie said loudly as she rolled her eyes, but then she notice Finn turn his head and smirk at her the truth was he was used to people dropping him when they heard what happened with him and Maddie, but no she was different she smiled back while Liv was talking "You're right Millie but it's not my place to say anything, I hope you can forgive me your like one of my new best friends" Millie turned away from Finn "Of course we are fine" she smiled 

Just then Mr.Keery walked into the class "Good morning students, wake up and smell the coffee" he joked "Your gonna need some because i'm assigning you a research project, which I know you kids love" He said sarcastically as the students moaned and groaned "And because I am so so so horrible I pick your partners" then he went around the room and assigned everyone a partner and once he got to Millie he partnered her up with (you guessed it;) ) Finn. Finn looked back at Millie and gave her a flirtatious wink. Which on the inside made Millie scream "Alright class so I would suggest getting eachothers numbers and addresses now go and sit with your partners to gather that information" he annouced 

Finn looked at Millie as he pointed to her to come to him "No I am not getting up your coming here" Millie joked "Alrighty" Finn chuckled as he walked over to Millies desk and sat down at the desk closest to her (Livs) "So if I give you 50 bucks can you do it by yourself" Finn said "Um no honey your doing as much as I have too" she said nastily "I know, I was joking you know I would never miss a chance to go to your house" he whispered close to her ear which caused her to get goosebumps, she blushed but did the same to him "And you know I would rather have the 50 bucks honey?" "Alright honey we will meet at the library" he joked. Just then he moved away from her ear and took out a piece of paper and wrote down "Call me honey 732-432-8011" he handed her the slip of paper and with that class ended. The next few classes went by and then it was lunch and Millie sat by her group of friends but she sat closes to Noah 

"Hey Mills" he said after sitting with his food "Why aren't you eating?" he questioned "Just not hungry" she lied "But um I have to do a project today so you can't come over" she said canceling their plans "Ok, but why can't i just come by and help you with the project" Noah asked confused "2 person project" she told him "Oh ok well who do you have to do it with" Millie looked him up and down really nit wanting to tell him "um Finn" she whispered "FINN?!?!" Noah yelled then Maddie looked at him concerned as she heard the little word "Look its not a big deal we have a project together we aren't hanging to have fun" she said in hopes to calm Maddie "Ok just don't get all close to him" Noah said "I won't" Millie chuckled after lunch ended she went to her last class and had one thought in her mind... finn. Then when her class ended she left the building and drove home.

Omg that chapter took like 2 almost 3 hours but I think its pretty ok, i'm sorry if my writing sucks but I promise you guys you will learn what happened with Finn and Maddie, please let me know if you are enjoying this or at least interested so I know to continue or not!             ~Kayla
