Chapter 118

As I get in the car I see multiple people taking videos and pictures of us. I feel my face heat up from embarrassment.

Suddenly a guy calls out to me, "Damn well if you're taking him home can you take me? I can repay you"

The guy winks as I roll my eyes.

"For real" he smiles, "the things we could do in 20 minutes.."

"You have a left hand. Use it." I growl.

I start the car and begin driving to Alex's house while throwing Kayla my phone, "Text Josh and make sure he's okay"

Kayla nods and quickly texts him while I continue driving to Alex's place which is only ten minutes away. Once we get there Alex gets out of the car and thanks us before walking inside. To be honest, he wasn't that drunk. So I'm guessing he just went to have Kevin's back. After dropping Alex off we drive another 15 minutes to Kevin's house. I park the car and look back at Kevin who's asleep. Kayla sees my face and offers,

"Want me to get him in the house?"

"No I got it" I sigh.

"I can help if you want" she says

"Nahh" I reply while getting out, "Just wake him up before I lose my patience and slap him"

Kayla nods and reaches over and shakes Kevin. After a couple seconds he wakes up and looks around.

"Hey... Kay" he tries to smile.

"Hey, time to get in the house." She explains

"W-What? Nahhh it's not like that... I'm into S-Sky" he stutters

"No you dipwad I mean for you to go into your house alone. We're dropping you off" she rolls her eyes.

I open the door and look at Kevin who drunkenly looks at me with a smile.

"Get out" I command.

"Thanks" He then shuts his eyes.

I look at Kayla with an "I'm really boutta slap this dude" look and she shrugs. Trying to calm myself down, I take a deep breath and shake him again.

He opens his eyes and rubs them, "oh hey Sky"

"let's go" I sigh and help him out of the car, "I swear Kevin you're in so much shit right now. I hope you know you're gonna be in a shit load of trouble with your coach."

"Whatever" he mumbles while we walk to his door.

"Got your keys?" I ask

"No.... No shit" he rolls his eyes.

"Don't catch an attitude Kevin. I can slap you right here right now and you wouldn't even remember it in the morning. So don't think you're all high and mighty just because your drunk self got to your house. Be happy I'm here for you cause if it wasn't for me you'd be in Jail" I mutter

"I'm just playing ma" he laughs.

He opens the door and walks in but immediately stumbles.

"Shit" he laughs.

"Go to bed" I reply while getting ready to shut the door.

"Aye aye aye wait.." He slurs, "Where's?... never mind.."

I shrug and shut the door but he immediately opens it again and says, "Stay"

"Go to bed" I keep walking, "I'll check on you in the morning."

"But-"

"Goodnight Kevin" I interrupt.

I get in the car and Kayla and I begin driving home when I get a text from Adym.

Adym: Are you Okay?!?!

Sky: yeah

Adym: why didn't you tell me you were going to the bar from Kevin?? I had to find out by going on Instagram and seeing you pulling Kevin away and almost bitch slapping a girl!!

Sky: sorry it was a last minute thing...

Adym: still

Sky: I'm not five Adym. Besides you were mad at me🤷🏽‍♀️

Adym: fine. You do you and I'll do me. Idfk how that's still a relationship but that's what you constantly do and I love you so I guess that's how it is.

Sky: I don't always do that Adym and don't act like you don't do shit

I hand Kayla my phone and she looks at me intently, "Are you Okay?"

"Adym got all butthurt cause I didn't tell him that I'm going to the bar to get Kevin. I mean he's all worried cause it's a low key bar. It's not like a bar that everyone goes to but it's still a little popular. It looks shady but it's a bar for crying out loud. So he thinks I can't take car of myself and imma get hurt but clearly I'm still in one peace and I'm not five." I explain.

"Well I mean he is your boyfriend and he worries about you.." she reasons

I give Kayla a stern look, "Really? Who's side are you on?!"

"Sorry" She puts her hands up, "He does have a point though.."

"He even said you do you and I'll do me cause that's what I constantly do. And he doesn't know how that's a relationship but he loves me so he sticks with it. He insulted me!!" I exclaim, "Like what's that supposed to mean??"

"Sky just think about it before you make a dumb decision okay?" She asks

I nod as we get close to the apartment, "Whatever"
