Then the door bashes open.
*BANG!*
Lala's brothers bash in a while, being followed by my brothers. Lala and I quickly shifted our attention to the sons of the families.
"Can you please get out? I'm not feeling well. Why don't you go ahead and leave the room? I'll call you guys when I need anything. Okay?" I told my brothers calmly.
My brothers just stared at me blankly and lost. "No," My three brothers said.
I look at Lala and saw her giving a death glare at her two brothers. When she looked back at me, she lost all focus and became calm while being embarrassed.
"Lala, why don't you go and tell your brothers to leave the room. My brothers won't leave since they are following your brothers," I said to Lala calmly.
Lala smiles and takes a deep breath before looking up at her brothers. She then spoke, "Jun. Maru. Can you please leave? I need to help Kanoa. I'll do anything and give you whatever you want. Please? Jun? Maru?"
I look at the brothers, and they were shocked. They calmly said, "Sorry. We'll go."
One by one, they all left the room. Once they all left, both of our parents both walk into the room. My parents quickly went up to me and sat me down while Lala was asked to leave the room.
"Kanoa! Are okay? How are you feeling? Is everything in your body still functioning?" My parents asked me repeatedly.
"Mother. Father. I'm okay. I am standing and breathing. I may need just to take a day off cause I'm really fatigued," I said to my parents in a calm but nervous tone.
"Okay, good. Just one day, okay? I'll give your school a notice." My mother told me.
"Well, we have to get going. If you can't make it that far, then I guess we'll leave you to hear at your friend's house for the night. We'll pick you up tomorrow in the morning. Your mother will bring you to work if she will be okay with it." My father said to my mother and me.
"Honey. I can't take Know tomorrow. It will be a busy day since tomorrow is my co-workers birthday and I can't bring my children. So we have to make a new plan. What do you say, Kanoa?" My mother told my father and me.
"Well, since the father has to take Lola to the hospital for a check-up, I'll just stay at home alone. I'll do some cleaning and rest until my brothers come home. Okay?" I told both of my parents the plan.
My parents both look at each other with a look. They then began to talk to each other. I got up and checked to see Lala, but she wasn't in the room. I look at the hallway and hear a conversation. I peer my head closer to the hallway just to hear what they were talking about.
"Lala. Do you know what you will do with this? On the third day of school, you already have caused trouble. What are you going to do now?" A female voice said to Lala.
I put together clues to try and figure out what was happening. I figured out that Lala's parents are having a conversation with her.
"I'm sorry. I had to help him out. We were just walking to the mall, and we ran into trouble with another person. I'm sorry," Lala said with trouble in her voice.
"Well, learn this as a lesson. I won't forbid you to be with him, but don't start anything beyond friends now. Okay?" Lala's mother said to Lala.
The conversation stopped, and I heard my name from behind me.
"Kanoa. So, We'll follow your plan but come straight home after the rest here for the night. Are we clear?" My mother looks at me with a menacing look.
