We walked into the school, and we knew that we would have a new experience today.
As we walk in, and Romeo and Christina confront me.
"Ohhhh, Kanoa. Who is this? Your sister?" They both asked me to give me a smirk.
I look at Lala, and I'm totally speechless. Lala looks at me and smirks. Her smirk is confident and strong.
Lala looks at the two and says in a very confident voice, "I'm Lala. Nice to meet you. I'm... I'm... Kanoa's twin sister!"
I look at Lala. She kicks my foot, and I had a feeling that she wanted me to stay in character and go with it. So I did. I stood there looking at Romeo and Christina.
The two look at each other as we look between the both of us. They turn their backs on us and discuss something while I turn to whisper into Lala's ear, "That was unexpected! What are we going to do now?"
Lala looks at me with large eyes but with a smile on her face. Her face filled with confidence and happiness. My heart began to beat faster, and I become red. Lala goes on her tippy toes and tells me, "Let's make that story up to make people not think that other side. We are just really close friends that can't leave each other's side."
I smile down at her and place my hand on her head. I move down to Lala's ear and whisper, "Sure. I just hope that they don't figure it out."
Lala looks up at me and smiles.
We turn back at the whispering Romeo and Christina. After their long whisper, they turned around with a large smile on their faces.
Romeo looked at me and asked, "You two look almost the same. So, ya. I will say that she is your twin sister. Why didn't you tell Christina and me?"
My eyes widen—my heart races. I think to myself all the things I have to say. I then opened my mouth and said, "I didn't tell you because I didn't want you guys to crowd around my twin and look at the two of us and say that we were similar, somewhat. Now that you are meeting her, What are you going to ask between the two of us?"
Christina began jumping up in down in excitement, seeing two siblings coming to school and actually seeing them. It's like she hasn't seen anything in a long time. She yelled out, "How does it feel like to be twins? Do you have the same mind? When you two have a conversation, do you guys read each other minds? I'm sorry for the questions, but this is awesome!!!"
Lala and I had eye contact, and we nodded at each other. Lala and I looked at Romeo and Christina. Lala began to talk to Christina, and I talked to Romeo. When there were questions about each other more often, we began to talk to each other as a group.
We noticed that more people came into the school and crowded the walkway we were in. We all moved to an open area and decided to make that our meeting spot. Our meeting spot was by bushes on the brick area near the office. It was less crowded, and there was some room for us just to talk only between the four of us. Our talking lasted until the bell.
*Ring*Ring*
Romeo and Christina both wave goodbye to Lala and me. I asked Lala, "Where is your homeroom. I'll drop you off."
Lala points to the same row of my English class and says, "Room 15."
My jaw drops and I slowly began to say, "That's... Next... To... My... Third and Fourth... Period... Class...."
