i wanna keep you

Looking at you walking down the hallway caused me to freeze.

You made your friends laughed and smiled with your normal everyday gestures and reaction to life. I could hear your laughter from ten steps away and suddenly it warmed me.

Then you took out your headphone from your locker and put it on. Your eyes closed but I knew you were singing along in your own world.

All I could do was stared blankly, not knowing what to do but couldn't help to sigh in relief. I had been watching my whole world fell apart since the beginning, but seeing you being so thoughtful and annoyingly sweet to everyone was a new thing I put on the top of my daily activities list.

Because you were that once-in-a-life-time thing that I could ever ask for. For now and for the next chapters of my life.
