Chapter 10-Did I just admit to liking Dani?

I sat next to Matt and he put his arm around me. I tensed, but immediately relaxed and leaned on him.

I love Matt like an older brother. He reminds me of Austin, *sigh* I miss Austin. I wonder if Aurora is going to tell him. Who am I kidding, of course she is going to tell him. 

"Are you sure you're ok?" Hayes looked at me with worry in his eyes.

"Yeah, Hayes. It's not like it hasn't happened before," I half smiled as everyone turned and looked at me with sympothy written all over their faces. 

"But whatever, I'm not exactly used to it, cause you can't really, but I'm working on it. This was my first panic attack in almost a month." I tried to brighten the mood. 

They looked sceptical, but slowly went back to their phones or whatever else they were doing.

I shrugged and turned on Netflix. Matt and I decided to watch Psych. My favorite show!

I cuddled closer to Matt and turned my full attention to the tv, feeling my eyes get heavy after a while. I tried to fight the tiredness, but I finally gave in and closed my eyes, letting sleep over come me.

Taylor's POV: 

"Now tell me whats going on with you and Dani?" 

"I don't know what your talking about," I said confused.

"C'mon Tay. There is no way she would let me, or her mom, take off her headphones in a situation like that, nonoftheless a guy she met the other day." Aurora said.

"Dani-Dani doesn't like me." I said, trying to convince myself.

"Ok, wink wink, if you say so." Yes, she did just say 'wink, wink'. "But I think you like her as well."

"I don't like her," I stopped myself. Did I? 

"Keep telling yourself that, but give me a call when you figure out your feelings. Just-just don't hurt her. Dani's a lot more fragile than she lets on, and I don't want to see my best friend get hurt again. Wait, I did not say that!" She tried to back up, but she had already said it.

"Again? Wait, what does that mean?" I almost yelled in the phone.

"Taylor, Dani has to be the one to tell you that, she needs to know she can trust you first."

I sighed. "Ok, but you said you would tell me why Dani doesn't get along with Mahogany." 

"Oh yeah, so they used to be best friends. But then when Mahogany went to MAGCon to be your DJ, the calls and texts that Dani got from Mahogany became less frequent. And everytime Mahogany came home for a break or whatever, all she would talk about was you guys. Dani felt like Mahogany had forgotten about her and replaced her sister with you guys."

"Seriously? Mahogany would not shut up about Dani when we would be gone for a while. She would always say how much she missed her sister and that Mahogany wished that we didn't have to be gone for so long and stuff like that." I was really confused now.

"Oh, well thats wierd, but one day Dani just snapped, she stopped answering the infrequent phone calls and text messages, dyed her hair blue, and got her lip ring." Aurora finished.

"Wow, I feel so bad for Dani, she's been through so much. Even though I don't know about part of it." I said the last part as a hint.

"I can't tell you Taylor, I'm sorry. I would tell you if I could, but I can't. Anyways, I have to go. Tell Dani that I'll Skype her later, bye Taylor." She hung up after I said bye back.

I sighed as I walked back into the other room, I saw Matt and Dani cuddling while watching what looked like Psych. 

I clenched my fists as I looked at Matt cuddling with the girl I like. Wait what? Did I just admit to liking Dani, oh my god.
