Why Me?

Chapter 4-Day One of MAGCon

After I had calmed myself down by laying in my bed, lights off, listening to music, I had changed into a sweater that said 'Eat A Lot, Sleep A Lot' and a pair of galaxy leggings with my black Vans. Then we all went out to get something to eat.

"So, how are you feeling?" Jacob asked me once we had gotten our food.

"Better, I guess." I shrugged.

"That's good," Cam said, taking a bite of his burger. They all nodded and smiled at me

I just nodded and stabbed a piece of lettuce with my fork. I slowly ate my salad while everyone else talked.

"Are you ok?" I looked over and saw Hayes leaning towards me.

I gave him a small smile and nodded.

"You sure, you don't seem fine."

"I really am, I just haven't told anyone before, and I feel like everyone is judging me." I sighed and laid down my fork.

"Don't worry about it. No one will judge you, you're part of the family now." He flashed me a huge smile.

"Thanks Hayes, I really needed that." I smiled back at him.

After we finished eating, it was time to go to MAGCon. Sitting in the limo, I put my Beats over my head. Pressing shuffle, Nightingale by Demi Lovato came on.

I softly sang along, looking out the window. After the song ended, I looked around, and saw everyone staring at me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"You're...a really good singer." Shawn said, in awe.

"I am?" I looked at everyone else.

They all nodded. "You should sing today." Hayes said.

I quickly shook my head. "No, no, no, no, no. I am not singing in front of people. And I'm not even that good."

They all looked at me like I was crazy.

"What are you talking about?" Jack (J) asked. "You're amazing."

"Really? I don't think I'm that good." I looked down at my hands and bit my lip ring.

"Well you are, so stop saying you're not." Matt said. "Now sing another song."

I just shook my head real fast.

Luckily, before anyone said anything, the limo stopped and the door opened.

"Come on guys, we're here." Bart said from outside the limo.

I climbed over everyones legs and ran out.

I put my Beats back over my head and started listening to Rap God by Eminem. Looking back, I saw everyone still staring at me. I was starting to feel uncomfortable, so I turned around and walked into the building, turning my music up all the way.

I sat down in a chair and crossed my legs. Going on Twitter and Instagram to pass the time, I blocked everything out.

I would have sang along to 5 Seconds of Summer's Heartbreak Girl, but I was to scared that someone would hear me again.

"Hey, so do you want to stay backstage or go in the crowd?" Mahogany came up to me.

"Backstage, definitely backstage." I almost shouted.

I wasn't trying to be mean and it's not that I didn't want to watch. But being in a crowd, especially ones for MAGCon, I knew I wouldn't last long at all with my anxiety.

She nodded and led me backstage. I threw myself on a couch and put my headphones back on. Up Down by Wiz Khalifa came on first. I started texting Aurora and Austin in our group chat.

The were still up my butt about telling all the guys. I just got pissed off and stopped replying to their texts.

"Ughhhhh," I groaned really loud.

"Are you ok?" I jumped at the voice. Looking over, I saw Taylor sitting next to me.

"Um, how long have you been there?" I asked nervously.

"Uh, a while now actually." He admitted.

Great, that just means he heard me singing along to Justin Bieber's Hold Tight.

"You really are good, why won't you listen to any of us when we tell you that?" He looked right in my eyes.

For once, I didn't feel uncomfortable and look away. I looked him in the eyes, too.

"Cause, I may be good, but I'm not good enough."

He looked like he wanted to say something, but Aaron came in. "Hey man, we need to go on stage and do sound check."

"Kay," Taylor stood up without taking his eyes off of me.I looked back at him untill he left the room.

"What the hell is happening to me?" I whispered to myself.

After a while, I decided I was hungry, so I went out in search of food. Humming along to Lolly by Maejor Ali ft. Justin Bieber, I went to the stage area. I probably shouldn't have done that, because without me knowing, they had let everyone in.

"And there's my younger sister, Dani!" Mahogany said into the microphone, pointing to me. I frantically shook my head, but a security guard didn't seem to get the message. He grabbed my arm and dragged me up to the stage.

I went limp and fell to the floor, hoping that would stop him. Yeah right. He just put me over his shoulder and carried me the rest of the way.

I was turned my music up all the way and closed my eyes, trying to forget about the crowd. But when I was passed from the muscley arms of the security guard to a different pair of arms, I opened my eyes.

I looked up to see Taylor staring at me, our faces were only a few inches apart. I was still nodding my head to the music and humming along.

"So Dani, is an amazing singer." My head shot up to see Carter smirking at me, talking into the mic. "We have decided that her and Mahogany are going to do a duet."

My mouth fell open.

Taylor set me down next to my sister, and grabbed my headphones from off of my head.

"They'll be doing Human by Christina Perri." Shawn told the crowd, and me, handing us our mics.

I grabbed it with shaking hands. I thought is was a great choice, one of my favorite songs. The music started and Mahogany sang the first verse. I closed my eyes and we both sang the chorus.

Mahogany stopped singing during the second verse, so it was just me. I got lost in the music and blocked everything else out. After the song ended, I finally opened my eyes. The crowd was deafening, and all they guys had smiles on their faces.

I looked over at Taylor, he had the biggest smile of all. I mouthed 'Thank you' to him, he nodded in response.

Ok, has wattpad been acting weird for you to? Cause it like, deleted all my reads, and then put them back, and then deleted them again, and then put them back again. Im just so confuzzled.
Whatever, whale, I'm watching The Fosters right now. *high pitched voice* So I'm gonna go.
