My 4th year in uni

Hostel

We were tired and worn out from the work on the farm earlier that day, we had no strength to cook, so we rushed down to "Aya Mayweather" to get some food, bread and beans. That was like our everyday meal except times when we had no cash. The Mayweather was her nick, real name of the eatery was "Iyawo Welder".  Went there with my roommates- Tayo, Bankie and Amos, four of us were always together, walking together, there was always a gist to say and I so was the gist of the day, how I spent an hour talking to a lady in the pretense of helping her.

Tayo: You really worked on farm today Mide (taking a slice of bread from the tray)

Amos: The guy worked very hard, no wonder he looks tired and happy at the same time

(Bankie interrupts giggling)
Mr Virgin is horny ha-ha
(Three guys laugh together).

Amos: So, Kemi's the new catch?
Anything we should know about?
Or would you rather hide your affair from her?

Bankie: Mide ti jappa!
I feel you bro.
Kemi's pretty anyway...

Tayo: I've always told you this guy pretends too much!

We saw the way you and Kemi spent almost the whole day together on her plot talking!

Bankie: You are here asking us who Kemi is

Amos: Alaye, we be your guy, you no need code anything, we sabi as e dey go!

Mide: Guys, I don't like this.
Yeah, I spoke with a lady on farm, I enjoyed our discussion, wasn't like your everyday talk of irrelevancies!
I'm now a pretender cos I spoke to a lady?
I totally forgot to ask her for her name but she seemed to know me well.

Tayo: Guy! All that scope no enter our head jere!
(Amos laughs, Bankie joins in the laughter)

Mide: And yes, she's pretty!
But y' all should correct the mindset of me flirting with her!

(Stella steps in
Tayo whispers to Amos
- Another admirer of Mide!
This guy is really dulling himself).

Stella faces Tayo
- I heard you o
You guys really should talk to Mide.
He's cute, yes
But he doesn't want to mix and have fun!
He keeps mentioning about his girlfr....
(Kemi strolls across the eatery)

Bankie: Hmm Hmm!

Stella: Oh Yeah Mide!
I saw you on farm today.
So, that lady?
I mean, that one?????
He He He!
All the best with your new friend

Mide: Stella!
I only made a friend today on farm, you should understand!

Stella: Make me understand Sir, make me.

Tayo: Guys, we should hurry to the viewing center, it's the London derby this evening!

Bankie: Up Gunners!!!
(Stands up hitting his chest)

Stella: Mide, are you going too? Well, your friend passed by minutes ago, you should hurry up to meet her 🙄

(Amos pays the waiter)

Mide: Goodnight Stella 🚶🏿‍♂️
