A very popular girl (Cleo) finds a boy (Jamie) who pretends he is from the future but she really likes him although he gets into trouble a lot for lying.
An overweight teen (Madalia) struggles with anxiety because she is bullied.
A boy (Marcus) gets abused by his dad and feels as if he is going insane because nobody likes him.

Madalia: "Huh?"
Cleo: "You like that movie?"
Madalia: "Yeah. It's sad though."
Cleo: "How about we meet up?"

Jamie: "What?"
Cleo: "Oh sorry we weren't talking to you."
Jamie: "Yeah tomorrow's good. Papa Pancakes Brunch? 3:00."
Cleo: "Uh... ok."
Madalia: "You see that guy? He's reading "Tomorrow"!
Cleo: "Your such a fangirl! Go over and speak to him!"
Madalia: "Tomorrow? You like that book?"
Marcus: "Uh, Yeah. It's Sad though."
