It's like another universe where the only reason you can't walk through mirrors is because your reflection blocks you.
If you go through the mirror (which nobody has ever done before) it's a parallel universe where everything is worse, but your reflection is doing the exact same thing as you and has the responsibility to be at the exact same time as you when you look at yourself in the mirror, but then Layla Crofford and her twin Michael Crofford realise they cant see Michaels reflection, he can easily pass through the mirror.
