Melanie and Rena are twin sisters, and also are ancestors of the witches in Salem. They discover they are witches when they hear a prophecy that states the stronger of the sisters will conquer their powers through killing the other sister, then becoming a full witch.
As Melanie's powers grow, Rena fears she is too powerful.
One night when Melanie sneaks out to a party with her boyfriend, and she sneaks back in through their window, Rena decides to use her witchy powers to murder her.
