I woke up to the sound of rain and hoped down the stairs. Zave and Annie were already having their breakfast and I joined them.
"Morning" I said as I sat next to Zave.
They didn't reacted and I was like 'um.. okay'.
Annie passed me a pancake and a cup of coffee which I gladly accepted and started gulping it down.
It seemed quite weird to me that they live alone so I asked it out.
"Um.. where are your uh.. parents?"
"They're dead." Annie stated coldly.
"Oh.. I'm so sorry.."
"Don't be. We're better off without them."
"Ann!" Zave gave her a warning glare and she shrugged.
A small part of me was dancing in joy because I got a clue! Somethings got to do with their parents. Maybe they're the reason behind Zave's sneaky behaviour.
After having breakfast Zave offered me a drive home, and we drove off.
"Hey Zave. I need to meet Aaron."
"What?"
"I want to meet him and sort things out."
"You said you'll get over it?"
"No. I can't. I want to know. I can't take this anymore."
"You know he's in London, right?"
"Yes. I don't care. I just want to talk to him that's it."
"Um.. okay" we screeched by the front gate and he opened the door for me.
"Okay? Really?"
"Yeah.. cool."
"Oh my god, Zave! Thanks!" I yelled and hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"I'll book the tickets. Convince your mom. I'll text you the timings. Okay? Bye."
"Okay. Bye! Thank you so much!"
He drove away and now the hard part comes; I'll have to convince mom.
••••••
So now, I was standing outside my house waiting for Zave. After convincing my mom, of course.
It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. I told her everything and she agreed saying that she understands. At first, I was taken a back by her words but then she hugged me and said first heartbreaks are always the hardest and that I have a right to know the answers and all that stuff.
Sure I lied that Cady is coming with us, but that's no big deal.
Zave screeched by me and I hopped in. We reached airport on time and we're now, sitting in the plane. A hot chick sat next to Zave and they both started flirting shamelessly. She was climbing all over him and he acted so casual. Like it's so normal to make out in a plane with your female friend sitting next to you.
We landed and walked out. She had to leave so they exchanged numbers. How thoughtful.
We hired a taxi, and headed to Aaron's home. Aaron's home. Yeah.
"Are you hungry?" he asked abruptly.
"No."
"Me neither. Were you comfortable on the plane?"
"Except your making out session? Yeah I was good."
"What? Are you mad at me?"
"No."
