Chapter 11 - Confronting Dad

It was Sunday morning and I had awoken to JJ rapping loudly from his room. I looked over to my phone and it was 9am, why the hell is he awake so early recording! I decided I may as well get up and get ready for the day, I didn't plan on doing anything today yet again so chucked on some grey shorts and a white shirt, I tied my hair up into a high ponytail and done the same basic makeup as always.

"Dani?" Josh shouted from the other side of my door

"Yes?" I answered

"Oh good, you're awake." He said opening my door and sitting down on my bed, "I spoke to dad last night and he's coming over for dinner later. JJ will be out again and Vikk is still seeing his family and I doubt Simon will come down to interfere." Josh continued to say

"Great, so David is coming here? I guess I can't really say anything because he is your dad and this is your house." I sighed

"Danielle, he's your dad too. I know what he said was wrong and hurtful and it didn't make me happy with how he treated you but other than me, he's the only family you have left." He replied

"He didn't want me Josh, I was a mistake, at least you were wanted. You don't know what it's like to lose everything you've ever had, to move to a new country, to find out your dad didn't want you and you had a secret brother. I can't just forgive him for what he said, it's not that easy." I said starting to get upset.

"I know Dani, I know it's hard for you. Yes I don't know personally because none of that has happened to me, but I will always be here for you. All of the boys will be here for you. We all love you Dani, you're my sister and apart of our family now. But please, talk to dad tonight, see what he has to say about this ring and your necklace, please."

"Okay Josh." I sighed, looking at him.

He gave me a hug and started to walk out the door.

"Oh, did I say dad was coming over for 6pm?" Josh said

"No, but I'll make sure I'm ready." I smiled to him

"Okay D" He smiled back, walking back down to his own room.

I laid down on my bed questioning why I had to see this man again. I don't want or need him in my life, I'm happy with Josh and the boys.

*Time Skip*

It was now 5pm, I decided to change my outfit and put on some black jeans and a black SDMN hoodie which I think was Simon's. As I opened my door, I could see that Josh was talking to Simon in his room so I decided to walk over.

"Hey guys." I smiled at them both.

"Hey D, I was just telling Simon that dad will be here soon and if it's okay for him to stay up here whilst we talk." Josh said

"Yeah, it's cool with me, I was gonna record with Ethan anyway. Can I at least come get some food though and a drink before he gets here?" Simon asked

"Of course you idiot." Josh laughed

We all walked downstairs into the kitchen, Josh started cooking some pasta and chicken for dinner whilst Simon placed a pizza in the oven which didn't take long to cook. I decided to sit down in the living room leaving the boys by themselves.

*Simon's POV*

"Josh, do you think she'll be okay?" Simon asked concerned

"She's strong, she'll be okay. I'm gonna be with her the whole time and if anything kicks off or he says anything wrong, I'll be here to help defend her." Josh replied

"I just, I know it must be hard for her, I don't want her to feel uncomfortable in the house she lives in, you know?" Simon said

"I get what you mean, it'll be okay though Si." Josh smiled at him
